Really. I'm in a quandry to upgrade to Windows 10 later this year, if finances work out. Basically, I'm being forced to by the greed of
Microsoft, because they're stopping security updates from Windows 7 in
early 2020. But, at $200 a pop, that's rather steep.

My PC came with 7 and got a free upgrade from MS a while back, can't
    recall when.
    The laptop came with 10.
I get updates, etc every so often.
I really like 10 and never had a program.
When 8 came out I was thinking of upgrading to that but a salesman at
a large national computer box store advised against it, saying it was too buggy.

I have a graphic on the BBS, with various houses and designs, based on
the operating systems. It included Windows 95, 98, 2000, XP, Vista, 7,
and 8 (it was created before Windows 10). The 95, 98, and 2000 domiciles
were rather small...XP, 7, and 8, were real nice. Vista was "upside
    down". <G>
