    Joe,

If ever you get the chance, try to take a look at this tv series:

    "Canada's Worst Driver"

You have your own tv show?

    ROFLMBO!! <BG>

The good news is that I needed that laugh!! The bad news is that I just
peed myself...so much for this pair of Depends. :P

That's like this one, where a mother's soldier son came home to surprise
her. Unfortunately, she answered the door with a full bladder, and when
    she saw her son.... :P

It's funny and concerning that these people are actually allowed
    to drive on the roads.

There are several car crash sites on You Tube, using dash cams and security cameras.

I think some of these folks got their drivers licenses from a Cracker
    Jack Box.

    They aren't gory.
They are for the most part fender benders and others were everyone survives. Mostly drivers doing stupid things.
I wouldn't care to watch gory ones with bloodied bodies laying all
    over the road, etc.

Ya, DDS-tv is the one I like the best in this genre.

No gore. The nice thing is that you can see the lead up to the accident and it helps you recognize when someone's about
to do something stupid - and avoid getting caught up in someone else's stupid decision.

The best car crash videos are VERY educational.

Part of the Driving courses that were offered at my highschool
were crash scenes - only after the fact - and some with pictures
    of dead or mamed victims.

    August,

Did your brother appear to have a good time despite being made
    fun of?

Apparently...but he still didn't like the card. I didn't bother
bringing it back up to him.

.. Then the introduction to InterBBS Scrabble turned out to
be a lot of fun for her too.

My late wife and Nancy would compete against each other in the
games. Lately, I've only been able to logon to do QWK Mail about
every 3 days...and no doorgame play.

Was/is Sean's version interBBS capable? The one we played
delivered packets that you then "load" into your local game. When
done, you send off the updated packets that have your play.

I'm not sure if it is. I think Chris Hall did the original door,
and while it has been abandoned, I think a key generator program is
    available.

Later, we discovered a live version of the game where you can
play with other people at any time of day.

I haven't done any InterBBS play in ages, since the Sunrise Doors
    competition shut down.

We saw the same thing in Driver's Ed back in the day. But "scared straight" doesn't work when you don't understand how they got into that situation in
    the first place.

When I watch the car crash videos, I always ask myself "what would I have done to avoid this?" In some cases, there's nothing you can do (because it's the guy behind you texting that caused the problem). But in many cases, just slowing down, leaving more room and being more alert would have allowed me
    to simply avoid the accident.
