Yes, some of us never left... And a number of others came back
after a time of being away... I think a lot of people wrongly
saw what they thought was the handwriting on the wall and
decided to drop out before things all ended.... then discovered
later that things didn't stop after all...
I always like BBS'ing, but other think went to the forefront.
Now I have a little more time to devote to it, and am glad I
did.

Are you the same Milberger (sysop) of 1:117/*, last nodelist entry 1998? Good to see you among those who decided to come back to play and operate a BBS.

You got me. You caught the 'Tater. Actually, the Big
Kahouna. LOL. It's hard to stay away. I even moved back to
the town I grew up in. Actually, I should be in there up to
about 2002 or 3. I moved about a bit back then.
At closer inspection, I see a listing up to 2008 from Newton TX, actually. Then you pop back on the lists in late 2018.
I dropped off the fido radar around 2006 when I had a HDD crash. I ran a lean operation, mail-only, points only, email/uucp gateway, two dialup lines (going on to 4 lines).
