    Hello Will!

Are you the same Milberger (sysop) of 1:117/*, last nodelist entry 1998?

Good to see you among those who decided to come back to play and operate a BBS.
A dialup system was just growing less practical in the late 90's.

Synchronet makes a fine quick web entryway reintroducing BBSing and presenting echomail to the masses.

You got me. You caught the 'Tater. Actually , the Big Kahouna. LOL. It's hard to stay away. I even moved back to the town I grew up in.
Actually, I should be in there up to about 2002 or 3. I moved about a bit back then.

At closer inspection, I see a listing up to 2008 from Newton TX, actually. Then you pop back on the lists in late 2018.

I dropped off the fido radar around 2006 when I had a HDD crash. I ran a lean operation, mail-only, points only, email/uucp gateway, two dialup lines (going on to 4 lines).

I was doing a lot of moving back then. Started back up at the end of October '18. Time and technology brought me down. I do have a little more time now and BBS'ing pulled me back in.
