I'm just one of the great unwashed masses now, since I like point
and click. :)
Guess so... but most of those earlier complainers probably have joined
the point and click masses themselves, now... ;)
Its like any changes that come along.
I am a old radio fan and have 1000s of shows in my collection.
When I started collecting in the '80s and '90s there was a big debate.
There were some who felt only reel-to-reel tapes were any good, and
others that the new cassettes were superior. (I used cassettes).
While this battle was going on .mp3's started appearing and the old
timers felt this was horrid, a sham, the ruination of the hobby, etc.
Now the r-r and cassettes are in the dustbin of history.
All my shows are on CDs and I don't even have a cassette player and those tapes were disposed of years ago.
