As long as your plan allows for that, since you don't use up your
minutes, it should save you money and hassle...
Its no real problem for me.
I'm set up for autopay and get a message I will be charged $19 and
change for the next quarter on whatever date.

But that's how you manage to accumulate all those very high balances of
minutes and all... But I do see where it isn't all that big a hassle...

wifi signal isn't available. Those times I'm on and right off again.
    That'll last you forever... <G>
    They should.

Unless you change your usage patterns... :)

I spoke to someone else who said, "Oh, all your data time is gone". DUH. I brought more data, which I still am using, (something like
$50 worth) and that was several years ago.
I'm really surprised (and a bit concerned) that the TracFone person
couldn't tell that you'd used up all your data, and that that was the problem...
The idea of my data time being gone never occurred to either me or
the woman with TracFone. It was only when I got the replacement and
had the same problem and called the second time.

Yes, but the TracFone lady should have had it occur to her... I'm sure
you weren't the first customer that had done a similar thing.... unless
she was a very new hire...

Data and all that was still fairly new to me.
    Now I know better.
It's like when I got my first PC, a 286, replacing my Commie.
I would have some problem and run off to the repair shop and told
"push this button to correct the problem" and then slink red faced out
of the shop. Over time I learned more and now the only time I'm at
the PC hospital is for some problem I can't figure out on my own.

Well, the early ones you couldn't figure out on your own, either... Now
you just have a lot more experience with more situations... ;) I'm just
glad that my "PC hospital" is in house.... <G>

So all your minutes/data/etc transfered from one phone to the next...
    Yep.
Whenever I replace a phone that time goes with it.

    That's good... :)

with illegal parkers in HC spaces either and glad we were taki
(note you are still being chopped off, this and the previous paragraph)
It was basically the woman in IT was all for photographing
    violators.

That's what I guessed you were saying...

I have one story I may have mentioned before.
I had just ticketed a car for a HC violation. I always took at
    least three photo's.
From the back with the car, stripes, signs, etc. Then from the
front I showed the front of the car and the windshield, then a close up
of the windshield and dash to show there was no hangtag visible. (This was in case the person actually one but hadn't h

(hadn't hung it) I keep mine in the glove compartment, though, so if
I'd forgotten to hang it, you wouldn't see it when you were taking the
photos, unfortunately for me... I have seen some people just lay it out
on the dash instead of hanging it....

This one woman came storming into the office ranting and raving she
was not parked in a HC space, there were no signs or markings, she
wasn't even in the area she got the ticket, etc.
The photos were pulled up and not only was it her car but she was photographed getting something out of the backseat.
She wearing the same clothes, since only a few hours since it
    happened. Busted.

Yup, you've told that one before... it's a good one... :) Apparently
she doesn't pay attention to the signs and markings.... or thought she
could bluff her way out of a ticket....

A few years ago the city started photographing all violators (mostly meters) using the same front/back which included the expired meter
only their photos are printed on the ticket as well as being sent to
    city hall.

Those are more likely to be accurate than the intersection photo
tickets... as long as they don't get doctored...

cars GPS then it was turned off again.
That would be a useful use for it...
Like the time I was visiting you and Jim.
I had pulled into a shopping area and looked up the address for the restaurant and was told, something (paraphrasing) to the extent, "Its
on the other end of the parking lot you twit". :)

Well, I HAD told you which shopping area, and which end of the little
plaza.... but I'll admit that unless you do know the area, it's easy to
not see the two restaurants at the near end as you approach from the
north.... Point being that you did get there, and we did connect... :)

    ttyl neb

... Tact is knowing how far you can go too far.
