Either I don't do it often enough to run out of free views, or the
direct links I'm given slip by that part of the site... or both....

I found on some sites if one goes private/incognito the cookies
disappear and a return visit is like the first time. Or one can delete the cookies after each visit.

My text browser clears cookies when I exit it... so there's nothing left
when I get in there the next time... Only use I've had for cookies has
been when navigating on some site that needs to keep track to get you
back to the page(s) you wish to return to...

I clean out my cookies weekly when I do my maintenance on Friday.
I also clean out the browsers history on a daily basis.

Probably wise in Windows.... in DOS, I don't think the history is
    accessible outside my computer...

I like the George Carlin routine about "stuff". That we collect stuff
then get a bigger place to live for all the stuff we've collected.
I will sometimes go on a cleaning binge. If its not something I've
used/worn for a period of time, out it goes.
Then almost the next day I have a use for something I had thrown out...

So far we've not gotten the bigger place to put all the stuff... it just
fills the rooms to the corners and then some... <G>

That's why I don't bother with cleaning binges... As I get started, I
quickly remember that the chances that something will be useful later
are high enough not to throw anything away (except, of course, for
actual trash and garbage)... so I go back to something more
worthwhile... like trying to catch up on my Fido messages... <G>

The priorities are straight.... just not the way the days play out... ;)

At least now I'm back from the last trip of this year, nothing likely
now until April... :) Maybe things will fall into place better now...
