• MakeNL DEB Build

From Deon George@3:633/509 to All on Tue Aug 20 15:01:42 2019
    Howdy,

Today I updated my debian of makenl to 3.5.1 - and I had to make some changes to the debian branch so that it build successfully.

If you want to incorporate those changes in the debian branch, you can use my patch here: https://dev.leenooks.net/bbs/makenl/raw/master/0002-Debian-fixes-for-3.5.x.patc h

This patch was needed because the docs and examples were moved and some files were deleted.

did you also submit this to the SF repo's tickets? either

    https://sourceforge.net/p/makenl/bugs/

    or

    https://sourceforge.net/p/makenl/feature-requests/

    as the case may be...

i honestly don't know which is the better place to submit... i posted a feature/fix patch on the SF repo and pointed to it in here but have not had any comments on it in either place :/

    No :(

If it was on github, I would have forked it, done the update and provided a pull request - making it easy peasy for the patch to be applied (to whomever wants to use it)...

I find sourceforge old and clumsy, and I cant remember my login details... ...лоег

I forwarded your earlier message to Jame Clay, who has been doing the work on Debian packages for MakeNL.
