    Hallo Benny!

Linux version 5.8.0 (root@bitskii) (gcc (GCC) 10.2.0, GNU ld (GNU
    Binutils) 2.35) #1 SMP Wed Aug 5 14:09:12 UTC 2020

    gentoo :)

I am still working on motorshed. At the moment it is the same except with Linux version 5.7.14 due to issues with graphics on the console on 5.8.0.

What more needs to be said?

hope to see you as a gentoo developper

I require bribing. A 36 penguin xeon-d with motherboard and ram (at least 72G of ecc) ought to pique my interest. :-)

    Het leven is goed,
    Maurice

it shame that zeon is behind amd now, i am still happy with my ryzen 7 3700, there is a new model now 3750, but :)

maybe i build one desktop around 3800HS but only if it have motherboards with DDR5 :)

There isn't one ... or at least not on the internet. So far I have
only supplied myself. An excellent source for building customized linux-gnu systems has always been www.linuxfromscratch.org.

    okay

it shame that zeon is behind amd now,

That is what I've heard except I haven't seen a 36 penguin ryzen yet.
16 is the most I have seen thus far. Mind you I haven't been looking
    all that hard.

who needs 36 ?, one is sometimes faster then 36 old womans :)

i had forget to turn off multilib so ggc glibc sandbox all taked longer unneded time to build, its many year since gentoo defaulted to multilib on amd64

Understood. I am happy with the two atom based servers I currently
have working but they aren't anywhere near providing me with 36
    penguins. ;-)

i have a slackware at home running on atom cpu, not impressed :)

No amd's here ... yet. I like the looks of the threadrippers but they are a tad too rich for me ... especially the 128 penguin ones. You
could bribe me with one of those systems. :::evil grin:::

this is possible the new black of computing, lets hope the white will not fight who should be stopped or being slave cores :)

its wild enough that graphics cards have now more memory then my first amiga harddisk
