i found this from a blog article at SIDN: https://www.sidn.nl/en/news-and-blogs/czech-government-to-withdraw-ipv 4-support-in-8-years

Interesting. My not so humble opinion is that getting rid of IPv4 is a good idea. Ipv6 is the future and keeping both versions alive side by side is needlessly complex and expansive. So the sooner we get rid of IPv4, the better. About a decade ago I decided not to buy new network equipment that does not support IPv6 end earlier this year I updated it to: No network equipment that can not function in an IPv6 only environment.

Having said that, the reality is that lots of things do not work properly yet without IPv4, so the IPv6 only age is still a log way off.

That the Czech government takes this step is a good thing. I hope more will follow. Then again a lot can happen in eight years, so we we see if they really go through with it.

so it's just totally useless. you might think it's just something related to me or that I just use a small ISP but no, that's the largest ISP in Rio, maybe largest in Brazil, and they simply ignore ipv6 for all clients.
Their own router doens't get a ipv6 address from their servers (and yeah I know they do have, for example, a ipv6 dns server.. what for?)

    It's just pathetic.
