Well, my father in law gifted me with his 1980 Marlin .357 lever action - Model 1894 Carbine. WOW! What a gift, and what a shooter!!!

Now I'm in the market for something I can't afford - a matching caliber
    single action revolver. :-D

... It it ain't broke, let me have a shot at it.

I a friend of mine had a similar gun, but I think it was a Remington
chambered in .38. Either way, I enjoyed shooting it way back when.

I've shot this one now in .357 and .38 as well. Former is louder and
more powerful, and fun - latter is VERY very fun, hardly any 'kick' and
not much louder than a .22 rifle. :-)

That does sound like a fun riffle to shoot!

Oh it is! My wife has an AR rifle and an AR pistol - those are fun too, but there's something about a wooden stock and old fashioned iron sights. :-)

Indeed. I much prefer the look and feel of guns that look like guns and
not as much like they could be toys. :)
