From Angel Ripoll@2:341/66 to Todos on Sun May 3 11:02:14 2020
    Hola Todos!

I have seen that golded has support for reading Synchronet's message base. I have tried using such support but have been unable to get it working. It puts three ways:

; AREAFILE SBBS r: \ sbbs \; Synchronet BBS dir
; AREAFILE SBBS r: \ sbbs \ ctrl \; Synchronet BBS config dir
    ; AREAFILE SBBS r: \ sbbs \ ctrl \ msgs.cnf; Synchronet BBS config file

I am in Linux with what I change \ for / and remove the drive.

Does anyone have it working? Can anyone help me?

    Thanks in advance

    Un saludo,
    Angel Ripoll

    Hello Angel,

; AREAFILE SBBS r: \ sbbs \; Synchronet BBS dir
; AREAFILE SBBS r: \ sbbs \ ctrl \; Synchronet BBS config dir
    ; AREAFILE SBBS r: \ sbbs \ ctrl \ msgs.cnf; Synchronet BBS config
    file

I had such a setup at one time. If memory serves I used this..

AREAFILE /sbbs/ctrl <- I'm not sure if "/" is needed at the end.
    AREAFILE /sbbs/ctrl/msgs.cnf

Perhaps someone has this setup currently and can give you better info.

    Ttyl :-),
    Al

None of those actually work. what you're looking for is:

AREAFILE Synchronet /sbbs/ ; Synchronet BBS dir
