The problems are that we still need a common list of echo tags available to link to, and backbone.na mostly serves that purpose.
We have moderators who don't actively promote and contribute to their echoe - and a handful of moderators hanging on to many dead echoes.
Would reducing the backbone.na and merging some of the echoes into 1
might be one idea to simplify fidonet?
