  • Question about telegram

    Hello Stas,

    There are several folks here in Z1 who have questions and I am just wondering about a meeting place where folks can find you and direct questions to you.

    I have been trying to answer questions where possible but I think folks would like to ask you themselves.

    Where would be a good place I can direct folks to ask you questions or get info about telegram?

    A node close to me here has suggested a support echo for telegram. Is there such a thing?

    I suggest (well, a node close to me did) an area called TELEGRAM. Is that possible? If it was I would like to connect with your node to collect that echo and I would also connect interested nodes here if they chose.

    Your thoughts on that?

    They should setup an account on Telegram, so they can chat directly to Stas and the other Telegram users. And also get a feel for Telegram at the sametime. It's nothing more than an whatsapp account, with most of them probably already have, so nothing to be afraid of...

    That could certainly work for those who know what telegram is.

    I don't have a telegram or whatsapp account myself so I don't know what it is and can't answer questions folks have.

    I'm just an old fashioned BBS user and I think these folks with questions are too.

    You need a smartphone to setup your account, you can't do it from your PC?

    I don't remember the details, but I think you at least need a uniq phone number, which will be linked to your Telegram account. (Maybe just to receive an sms)
