• Pet Peeves?

From George Pope@1:153/757.2 to All on Mon Feb 1 12:02:30 2021
Hry, strangers, if anyone left, it's been a few years since I've had access
    to here!

Does anyone recall when I (Cyberpope) was the mod & posted near daily?

Here's one for old iimes' sake.

Keeping it G-rated, as I don't know if the rules have chamnged sine I hasd it (PG-16)

When our client's dog lapped up anti-freeze, the veterinarian I work for ordered a unique treatment: an IV drip mixing fluids with vodka. "Go buy the cheapest bottle you can find," he told me.

At the liquor store, I was uneasy buying cheap booze so early in the day, and
I felt compelled to explain things to the clerk. "Believe it or not," I said, "this is for a sick dog."

As I was leaving, the next customer plunked down two bottles of muscatel and announced, "These are for my cats."

    Laugh, you f*ckers!

    I do!

I think you are still the mod, no one has stepped up. The current echolist doesn't list this area although it is still listed in backbone.na.

If you'd like to add the area to the echolist again I can help with that, just hollar if I can be of any help.

There was a guy who fought for it back when I lost my node. . .

He ran 30+ echoes (bored old-timer with cancer was the rumour)

We had a vote for the LORD game echo & he won by 8 votes.

If you'd like to add the area to the echolist again I can help with that, just hollar if I can be of any help.

Let me get myself sorted first, with my own node & QWK schedule working first
    & I'll know to get back to you. . . :)

Well, the LORD echo is in the same situation as this one. It's listed in backbone.na but it's not listed in the elist anymore.. so..

You know where to find me.. ;)
