    Real men have beards ... I never understood the concept of shaving ...

    In the wintertime I keep mine. To us used to -20C and
    wind chill of -30C and below, it works very well as
    insulation.

    In the summertime however I respect the wishes of
    previously my beloved Anita and now still my children and
    grandchildren, who prefer to see what I really look like.

    My children and grandchildren would not recognize me without the
    beard:-}}

    Shaving takes too much time. Even if it's only 10 minutes, it means 2.5 full calender days a year.

    Hey Ward!

    Nice try but this is obviously an attempt at Google Translate
    gone horrible wrong.

    Could very well be but from my limited understanding of French the key words looked correct and thus gave it a shot. In English it says. "If the dog didn't stop to take a shit he'd have caught the rabbit." How close was the French translation to that?

    From my perspective the UTF-8 characters look good and therefore a success, and really don't care about Google's success rate at translating things but would like to get things right if it is possible ... which at the moment seems remote.

    Here is your opportunity to shine. :::snicker:::

    Translating "take a shit" by "prendre une merde" is totally meaningless in French.

    Hallo Ward!

    Avez-vous un sac en plastique pour la merde ?

    Yes and no. That doesn't work at all for the saying, which covers the 'no' part, and 'yes' I have plastic bags but not for the usage above. Also much talk about banning sac en plastique in this part of the world, or at least for packing groceries in.

    ... Een Møøse beet ooit in mijn zus ...

    Doesn't make sense to me either, and I'm a native dutch speaker.

    It isn't supposed to make sense which I believe was the original intent of "A Møøse once bit my sister ..." For my particular usuage it's the 'ø's that make all the difference no matter what language it is translated to;

    -={ '<Esc>:read !trans -b -no-ansi -s english -t french "A Møøse once bit my sister ..."' starts }=-
    Un Møøse a mordu une fois ma soeur ...
    -={ '<Esc>:read !trans -b -no-ansi -s english -t french "A Møøse once bit my sister ..."' ends }=-

    Does that make any more sense to you? Other than retaining the mythical bogo-Norwegian Møøse creature it looks just as silly as the original to me.

    Hallo Ward!

    No. Just random ascii chraracters without any meaning.

    Except for the fact two of them are not ascii characters and are no more French than they are/were Dutch ... or English for that matter. That is the true meaning or sense of it and makes it perfect for the cause.

    Perhaps your aversion to bathrooms has caused a backlog of your system and now you are just full of shit? ;-)
