But thank you anyway, Tommi, for having
been a mature sysop - at least for a little
while. However, keeping your balls warm in
Fidonet can be difficult at times. So I do
truly understand. I'm just glad that trolls
do not need sunlight and can keep warm any
where, any time.

Which reminds me -

It is almost that time of year again.
Hallowe'en. And you know what that means.
The spooks will soon be upon us. A time
when sysops everywhere are scared of their
own shadow. But why wait until Hallowe'en
when you don't have to?

FABIO: How was your day today?

WARD: Actually, it was terrible. Nick has his panties
all tied in a knot, as he is going through a stage where
he is scared of everything. He is scared of the dark.
He is scared of the toilet flushing. He is scared of the
basement. He is scared of trolls lurking about. He is
afraid of his own shadow!

FABIO: Oh no! I'm so sorry to hear that. But don't worry.
That happens to a lot of kids. I mean sysops. They all
eventually grow out of it.

WARD: Really? I hope so. I can't take much more of this.

Apart from trolls, sysops are probably the most misunderstood
beings in the known universe. They can best be described as
persons (?) who are timorous and frightened of everything. And
that includes their own shadow.

Trolls just want to have fun, and are never scared of their
own shadow (or that of others).
