?? Not sure what your point is. Bluewave filters only messages I tell
it to filter (if any) and certainly not by the date as you suggest.

Is Joke. BlueWave had Y2K problems, which was when I discovered
    MultiMail.

Yes it did, and that is why I wrote a band-aid batch file to fix it.
Later on, someone came up with a more elegant patch and we Bluewave
    users are grateful to him.

Merkel does not. But she speaks Russian...

Yes, I knew that she shied away from showing that she can 'follow' the lingo. Her ability with Russian surprises me.

It is no surprise to me and to other Europeans. Angela Merkel grew up in the DDR. Deutsche Demokratische Republik. Contrary to what the name suggests, the DDR was not a democracy as we know it. It was the part of Germany that after WWII was assigend to be occupied by Russia. AKA East Germany. As a consequence Russian was taught as a second language in East German schools.

From an apolitical stance, I still like to think that she could be a nice person. I once saw her having a happy time on TV a few years back, meeting with some Aussie well-wishers in Brisbane (at the time of a G-8 IIRC).

    Cheers,
    Paul.

Eh?? She /is/ a nice person. The fact that she was born and raised in the former DDR has nothing to do with it. There is nothing political or apolitical about that. The Berlin Wall is history.

She is the prime minister of our neighbour country and strongest economy in Euope. She is often on TV here. That she does not speak English does not bother me. I do not need the translators. I speak German.

    Cheers, Michiel

(I've had a bout of gout [nice rhyme] in my left ankle for over a
    week).

    Diet related?

Maybe. Something I ate, drank or smoked 40-odd years ago? Bad mushrooms perhaps.

    Cheers,
    Paul.

It's one of the awkward ones. Diet advice can help but the gout spikes are very individual meaning what spikes one, affects another not at all. Diabetics are like that.
