I was receiving the entire file backbone from Janis. Which system do I make contact with to resume?

I am in the same situation here. I am busy getting the areas linked to new working links.

You are welcome to link here. Netmail or email me at agianson@gmail.com if you would like to do that.

I am relinking the areas myself and they are not all setup yet but I am working on that and they are coming together.

    Hello All!

OK, the Star system has been formed for one primary and a few
    secondary reasons :

With the closure of Janis Kracht the admin for FileGate which is the
system for receiving software as archived files and information of
one type or another from the various contributors, Authors and
programmers to place into the fido (and other) network/s.

I was receiving the entire file backbone from Janis. Which system do I

    Thanks!

I pass on to the other system files as they arrive but you are more than welcome to connect to me as the replacement for Janis as I am now acting as the
    master filegate hub.

Just send me a password you wish to use for session, file (filemgr) and echos (areafix) along with the node address you wish to use and I will have it fixed up ASAP.

Once set up I will link you in to echo area Z2REGION25 which is my system status and important message area for all downlink (traffic normally 2 - 5
msgs per month at most so please set that up on your system for your usage) followed by Notify messages from filemgr and areafix which should give you a list of available areas as well as connected one's.
When you send your first link up add %HELP for my systems details on using each
one and you are off or at your request can set you up for all file and echo areas - as you need .

you're thinking of Ray Gwinn (who also created and maintained the X00 fossil driver)... he's not been in fidonet for maybe 20 years now... he is on facebook, though...
