    Hi Gunter,

On 2020-12-14 17:08:00, you wrote to me:

Is the meessage time plus the TCUTC-kludge indicating the correct
    message time ?

The message time is the local time of the writer of the message.
TZUTC is the offset to UTC time.

    :-)

I specifically meant my original message.
Just want to test if my mailer processes TZUTC kludge correctly.

    Your original message:

    Message time: 2020-12-14 16:31:00
    Arrival time: 2020-12-14 16:32:20

So that seems to be the case.

And which mailer is used to display the sender time of this message
    ?

Any mailer that is used by the receiver/reader of the message (area)
    ?

    :-)

BTW: you live in Central Europe, according to you time zone, correct ?

    Yes.

    Bye, Wilfred.

In OpenXP, the header of your message looks like this:

    X_C:

I hope this helps a little.

    Hello Gunter!

Yep, seen it and it would be really nice if somebody could be kind
enough to translate your explanation into English, please, thanks :-)

To keep a long story short: the "Datumscode" a.k.a. "EDA" field in OpenXP is in ZConnect format.

    Datumscode: 20201214153100W+1 (14.12.20, 16:31)

The part before the "W+1" is always UTC so you can (hypothetically) sort messages by this field.

The "W+1" is the difference of local time minus UTC, and the part in parentheses is the local time.

OK and thanks very much for that.

    Regards,
    Martin
