I still have my original poster, framed. On eBay, people are asking insane prices for those.

Awesome! Yes I've seen the hefty pricing for those.

I have recorded many mix-tapes over the years, and always used Maxell brand.

They're probably curtesy of Zerox.[nudge, nudge]

    Cheers,
    Paul.

    ... Can I have what's behind curtain #2 instead?

Do you still have the collection?

I still have all of mine. Too many to count!

TDK tapes I' and II's, are another comparable brand in my collection.
    Many also still sealed.

Every try the TEAC tapes that look like mini reel-to-reels? I have a
modest collection of those too. Some, still sealed.

The better sellers provide quality close-up images, and clearly identify
    the flawed spots.

But there can certainly be fake versions in the bunch. I made over 96

Mine is mounted in a modest steel IKEA frame. The best outcome I can hope
for (for peace of mind, and to avoid fake complaints) is to sell it
    locally.

Whoops! Unfinished thought. Incomplete line. That was supposed to be a reference to the number of purchases (or stars) or purchases on eBay over
the years. I even got *that* wrong. It's 68 stars to date.

Yes. All of them. Approx. 200+ tapes, various genres of music, recorded
on a trusty workhorse Tascam deck from the late 80's to early 2010's.

The Tascam deck still works perfectly. I swear I'll be buried with it.

TDK tapes I' and II's, are another comparable brand in my collection. Many also still sealed.

I was never really a big fan of TDK as I got "burnt" with some blanks that ended up with dead-spots. I was pretty stubborn and always stuck with Maxell.

    I have a Teac reel-to-reel... no need to use the mini's. 8-)
