    In the last 24 hours we've had 25mm of rain. Some have had even more.

    It hasn't done bugger all for my rainwater tanks but it should lower the fire risk slightly.

    Well, until the undergrowth bursts into life and then dries out again :(

    Maybe my exuberance is premature...

    That is correct, but it is more than I've had in the last 6 months put together.
