From Rick Smith@1:340/202 to All on Thu Apr 16 23:51:52 2020
    Greetings,

I have successfully well for the most part set up a point setup. I used
binkD, Husky and golded. What is not working is outbound mail getting sent.
I can poll and receive just fine. Golded can create messages and I see them sitting in the outb directory. There are no log errors that I can find it either of the three programs, and no MIS errors on my bbs side.

Any thoughts of where I might look?

That is what I use here also. Do your outbound match in husky and binkd?

I have successfully well for the most part set up a point setup.
I used binkD, Husky and golded.

that's what my point setup uses...

What is not working is outbound mail getting sent.

check that the directories binkd and hpt are working with... make sure both are
using the same outbound directory tree and structure...

I can poll and receive just fine. Golded can create messages and
I see them sitting in the outb directory.

what do you mean? please be explicit... we cannot see your side of the screeen from here ;)

    1. what OS?
    2. what user is each of binkd and hpt running as? if on *nix, what group, too? 3. do those users have permissions for those outbound directories?
    4. are you doing multiple FTNs?
    5. what are the names of the files you see in the outbound?
    6. are they in the proper outbound directory?

There are no log errors that I can find it either of the three
programs, and no MIS errors on my bbs side.

i wouldn't expect to see errors unless a directory or an archiver (if you are using one) doesn't exist...

    screeen from here ;)

I believe I got it working we will see. I used a script that downloaded bink, husky and golded, ran an interactive configuration and set all three up for me. It just needed a couple of tweaks to work with debian. Ill post here when for sure working.
