From Alan Ianson@1:153/757 to All on Fri Jan 6 02:11:08 2023
    Hello All,

I just built husky on a new (to me) machine with a new OS so I am not sure what to expect from that machine but haven't had any issues.

When I run ./hpt I get the usual hpt help screen.

When I run ./hpt toss link I get a segfault.

When I run ./tpasrer it seem to read throught the config and then at the end it says "double free or corruption (fasttop) Aborted".

    Anyone having better luck?

Nope. It is broken in every platform I have tried.

    OS/2 EMX and WATCOM, Windows, Ubuntu/Debian... :(

I also scared that I broke something when I was playing with smapinntpd libraries. :)

Thanks. Yep, all is tossing well now.

This new machine I have is a Linux from Scratch setup I did following the instructions at linuxfromscratch.org.

Looking at htop it's using 44.1 MB of ram. It's quite a lean setup, just a server is what I have now but you can build it up further if you wanted to.

It took me a couple days to get it all built and booted though.. ;)

No, I have always run "hpt toss link", and that has always worked.

I just did an "init_build" and "build.sh" an hour ago and things are looking good now.

Maybe I should I try to rebuild mine still will not toss without me running the script manually, this morning I also noticed that I have to manually run hpt scan to get it to notice outgoing mail to be packed.?

I was thinking about that but was afraid of adding unnecessary complications to your issue.

The issue I was having only lasted a day or two. I am now running the husky software version 2023-01-07 and it works well.

Try a rebuild and see if that helps.
