At the most basic, but the most important, we are people.

Beyond that, at some point in the past, people in our family lines came here from somewhere else. The reasons weren't all the same, obviously. But even those who we call "Native Americans" ancestors came here from elsewhere at some point in time.

Less Historically speaking, everyone wants the opportunity to make a better life for themselves and their family.

We all want the the opportunity to find happiness and love.


These are all small examples, of course. But I think small things can be very important. Especially when we find ourselves in times like these, when everyone seems so focused on differences.

Sometimes you have to shift your focus to the little things, in order to take a breath, and see that the differences that seem so huge, are really not that important.

There is no mention of [political] party in the US Constitution.
Our first president was of no party. And look what he did. Picked
all the justices of the US Supreme Court. Each and every one of
them. Okay, one of them [Samuel Chase] was later impeached. But
then we went and put his face on US currency. So, it's all good.

According to Fake News the Obese Turtle is trailing Sleepy Joe in
Arizona, Nevada, Georgia and _Pennsylvania_.

What a surprise that the expected landslide did not occur.

President-elect Joe Biden has a mandate, winning by over 4 million
votes more than his opponent, along with at least 5 deep red states.
That is more popular votes than any other elected president in the
history of the USA.

Democrats retained the House of Representatives.

Democrats still have a possibility of controlling 50 seats
in the Senate, along with having the Vice President serve as
President of the Senate.

70 million USAians obviously still think that Bunker Boy is the best POTUS they can get.

They have been forgiven. Why? Because President-elect Joe Biden
asked us to forgive them for they know not what to do.

Surely it must be the educational system that has failed? Plus of course the
US media.

The US media carried Joe Biden's victory speech live on television
for all to see, and hear. And we could all hear the people honking
their horns in approval.

Not even for the senate did anything make sense. Mitch, Graham and Susan (e.g.) winning big?!?!?! What's the matter with the US people?

Moscow Mitch won in a state that prefers horses to people.

Lindsley Graham barely won against a black man who would have
won had he been white.

Susan Collins barely got over 50% of the vote, thus avoiding the
runner-up to win due to the state's unique second-vote provision which
would have made her the winner (the third-place candidate had a bit
over 1%).

There were a few other close races where the Democrat could have
won. But there are two runoffs in Georgia, making it possible for
Democrats to gain control of the Senate, with the Vice President
serving as President of the Senate in case of a tie.

But, then again, the DEMs are just as corrupt as the GOPs, depending just as
much on "donations" from the Big Corporations.

Unlike Republicans, Democrats are not controlled by an orange turd.
In fact, I doubt there are any true Republicans anymore, as the orange
turd seems to have gotten rid of them all. Even Mitt Romney has bent
the knee. And there are no more John McCains.

So one couldn't really expect any sort of exploiting of the GOP's mistakes by the DEMs -- they're all the same.
