All jokes aside, the man is in bad shape. Really bad shape. He
was given an experimental remdesivir drug cocktail last night,
approved for use only in clinical trials, on a compassionate
care basis. This was given to him *before* other drugs that would
normally have been used that early. IOW, there was nothing more
doctors could do for him, short of putting him on a ventilator.
If his health does not improve over the next 48 hours, it will
become a death watch. The prez on a ventilator, and probably
never wake up.
When did Donald Trump know he was infected? On Wednesday morning,
before he had flown to Minnesota for the debate with Biden. He also
attended a fundraiser on Thursday morning, knowing has infected.
That is according to his doctor, Sean Conley, who said he had
been tested 72 hours prior to his trip to Minnesota.
Think about that for a minute. The guy *knew* he was infected.
And still decided to attend the debate, as well as a rally and
fundraisers.
Sidenote - two Republican senators who are infected have decided
to end their self-quarantines after 10 days, rather than 14. Even
if they are still showing symptoms. Why? So they can attend the
committee hearings and vote for their beloved leader's choice of
a judge nominated by Trump to serve on the USSC.
Rules don't matter. Not to Trump. Not to his sycophants.
The doctor's claim of Trump having been given a "polyclonal"
treatment was inaccurate, as Regeneron spokesperson Hala Mirza
noted to CBS News by saying "It is two monoclonal antibodies".
The administration has been lying to us from the get-go. What
is the real health of the president? Nobody in the administration
is honest enough to tell us.
When Americans wake up in the morning and learn their beloved
leader is dead, what a shock it will be. On the other hand, there
is always the possibility that news of a dead POTUS can be covered
up, with a body double taking his place. I just hope he has plenty
of orange make-up and a good hairstylist to go with it.
Kevin Klein did a great job as "Dave". Just think of what that
means for Alec Baldwin, reprising his role from SNL, becoming
Leader of the Free World. What a joy that would be. And to think,
the entire world would think it is a miracle.
