    Hello Everybody,

YOU TOO CAN TAKE THE TEST!!
    CAN YOU MEET THE CHALLENGE?

Donald "Stable Genius" Trump scored 30/30.

Not sure if anybody took the test for him,
as one can only guess. But still, rest assured
the Leader of the Free World does not have
early stage dementia. I mean, a perfect score
    is a perfect score.

Such a hard test. Try it yourself and
tell me I am lying -

Once he leaves the witness stand, he has everything he needs to

Do you think there's a real possibility that he'll refuse to leave the office after his loss in November?

As with Prince Andrew, Donald Trump is above the law.

Well, strangely enough, the SCOTUS (supreme court of the USA) recently ruled that the POTUS is *not* above the law. With a 7-2 ruling even with several judges appointed by the Trump.

Yeah, well you can probably understand how this so called democracy works?

But would it be impossible to force the POTUS to at
least write the executive orders personally?

That is why he (and others) has (have) speech writers. Tell them what

    Hello Dale,

Underneath those people are career civil servants. Those people
cannot be fired without extreme documentation and appeals. Trust me,
I tried to do it once. There are enough protections in place to
protect them that it is next to impossible to fire a career employee.

MVDV>> It is my understanding that Trump can not Fire Dr Fauci. But
MVDV>> apparently he can make things difficult for him by "isolating" him
    MVDV>> from the media. Correct?

    I believe that is correct.

Under federal law, no president has the power to directly fire
a career civil servant (such as Dr. Fauci), and remove him from
    government.

However, a president can make his life miserable, by ordering his
political appointees to dismiss him. However, doing so will not end
the matter as Dr. Fauci could appeal - and you know how much time
    that can take.

Except for just cause (limited to poor performance, or failure
to follow orders, etc.), a president cannot "fire" a career civil
servant. Even if he does, no matter how incompetent the president
might think the schmuck might be, he would have right to appeal.

Trump can only fire the political appointees, and I'm pretty sure that Fauci
is a long time careed civil servant.

Political appointees serve at the pleasure of the president.
As such, he can let them go any time he wants. With, or without
reason. Dr. Fauci is a career civil servant, age 79, serving as
director of the NIH since 1984 ...

OTOH, Fauci is still talking to the media -- even if Trump
does not want to talk with him.

Trump has clearly sidelined him, keeping him away from press
briefings and media interviews. But when was the last time he
had one of those, with his "panel of experts" beside him? His
claim of having dropped Dr. Fauci from his "panel of experts"
has fallen on deaf ears, given the last time any of them even
    talked to him.

Meanwhile, Dr. Fauci had a field day talking with The Atlantic,
with the news media quoting his every word - both from the video
    interview and the print edition.

Interesting observation, thanks a lot Tim. Is that the general US conception of how the incoming POTUS shall act? Is firing and replacing everyone in the government, without any reason, the norm for every new POTUS?

What a waste of cumulative knowledge -- no wonder USA is best in the world when it comes to spreading the corona virus... :(

No. In fact, I suspect he'll move out several days prior to the deadline.

    As every outgoing President does.

The time spent for the oath and other things is used by a well-oiled WH-crew to change everything, throwing photos out if the ex-potus didn't take them. throw matresses out (don't want a Prez to sleep on the previous Prez' mattress0, etc so when later after all the parties and dances that day the Prez can go "home'.

You think Lizzy is not going to protect her second son?

Why should she? He's a Big Boy now and can take care of himself.

The Donald has the power. His idiot children have to wait their turn.

I'm sure that the Orange One would protect his kids too.

Why should he? He has only himself to care about.
