    This echo was supposed to be for discussing and publishing Fidonews
    articles. That horse left the barn years ago.

    It has nothing to do with Fidonet or any other !

    Let me be the judge of that. Since the advent of most article contributors leaving, this echo now has an "anything goes" policy, just to keep it alive.

    Feel free to make some contributions, to put the echo back on track. If you don't, you have no right to complain.

    Everything about Fidonet has to do with communication. Not limited
    to sysops only, but open to all. So why limit who can participate in
    this echo, or its publication?

    Sure, participants should be encouraged to send in articles for
    publication, and participants should be encouraged to discuss those
    articles in the echo. But limiting what can and should be discussed
    might not be the best idea in the world, as this is an international
    forum not limited to any specific region.

    Feel free to make some contributions, to put the echo back on track. If you
    don't, you have no right to complain.

    Okay, okay. I get it. From now on, I will double the fun. For
    everybody. By making my own contributions. To both this echo and
    the publication. Leaving no excuse for anybody to complain.

    Knorr makes a seasoning packet that's got one packet of seasoning and
    bread crumbs to make your own meatballs and another packet to make the
    gravy. The kids love making them from "scratch".
