Imagine how my Russian friend living in Ukraine had to take all oral exams in Ukrainian.
Imagine? You mean that it is not reality but just a hypothetical situation?
It was a reality, from 2014 to 2022, on the territory of the former Ukraine. Now it is the territory of Russia.
OK, Imagine me moving to Russia. You'd have to imigine, because it is not a real situation, I
will not move to Russia. But for the sake of argument... imagine... Now if I want to continue
my hobby as a radio amateur and I want to pass the exam... Could I take the exam in Dutch, my
native langauage?
How else do you want to write the word "imagine"?
""Picture this" is more clear? Because you can't try it on your own skin, just try to imagine. No, not to come, but to be born, to live your whole life speaking Russian, and suddenly - blemishes, let's take the exam in another language!
No need to elaborate, a simple "yes" or "no" will do.
Not applicable. Because even a picture of this you are not able to do there in the West.
