Dead and gone, from what I can see.

... Goodness! That was close! I almost gave a damn.

    OK. You OK?

Janis, were you planning to do something about this?

I am, and thanks for asking.

Janis, were you planning to do something about this?

IIRC, Sean D. washed his hands of it. Maybe Janis would like to
    (re)take over it's operation.

The counter-argument to that, of course, is that there isn't enough
(any) content, seemingly. Very much like the Snooze.

... All the easy problems have been solved.

Hard to argue with that perspective. So I won't. :-)

It could be totally Fido-unrelated, but distributed by FTN-technology.

For example, this past summer I planted potatoes in flower pots ... after harvest my grandaughter said these were the best potatoes she ever had ... 100% organic, good soil ...

You don't need a Fidogazette article to publish that.
HOME_N_GRDN echo would be good enuff. Even a post of some
random thought or interest could be planted in a general-
purpose echo like ANYTHING_GOES, COFFEE_KLATSCH or even CHAT to
    get things started.

Granted, in the past, the F/Snooze contained interesting
articles of a variety of things. But then, that was long before
chat systems and social media. Now, people have discovered
other sources to get their social news in newsletter form.
