I'm chuckling but I have heard similar stories about COVID.
In my case, my dad had been admitted to the local VA hospital for a minor procedure and came home with a very active case of COVID-19 but no one bothered to test him when he was discharged. He came home and three days later, my mother and I had COVID-19 also.
Thankfully, my mother's and my case of COVID was fairly mild only lasting about 3-4 days of symptoms though my dad struggled with no energy for a few weeks. All of us kept our taste of sense and smell. I had headaches for a few months thereafter and now if I stress myself too hard, I get one of those headaches again.
Msg to moderator: I didn't break any rules. did I?
No, of course not. I mean, we all talk shit here, right? <G>
