From Ardith Hinton@1:153/716 to Denis Mosko on Sun Nov 10 23:46:02 2019
Hi, Denis! Coming up soon... Nov. 11th, known in Canada as Armistice Day or Remembrance Day & in the US as Veterans' Day. The date is the anniversary of the end of WWI. It is a solemn occasion on which we honour people who risked life & limb in both World Wars to protect us. Canadians also wear poppies to remind themselves of John McCrae's (1915) poem, "In Flanders Fields".... :-)
