With Ben, Bill and Roger no longer with us in fido, there is a need for moderators to take over their echos.

Please advise who and what and I will send you over an archive containing the MOD-ADD files along with any Rules for each area.

The last time I looked a lot of them seem to have very low to no traffic but there again I could have a problem with links.

As a fair few have no traffic I will let those be deleted from all lists.

If any one wants to take them on I can provide MOD-ADD files for them but you will need to change the MOD, COMODn and FROM lines along with the PASSword.
IF there are any rules I will try and remember to include those as well in a zip.d archive sent direct netmail if requested.

The AVIATION echo is active, that is Ward Dossche's echo.

The Z1_BACKBONE echo is a backbone support echo. Perhaps on of the backbone hubs (or you) could take care of that. It's where folks communicate with the backbone with regard to their echoes along with getting areas listed/adjusted in the backbone.na file.

If you can send me the info I'll get those updated.

archive 'should' be attached as 1153757.zip if not let me know by direct netmail.

For all eco files remove the last line starting with UPDATE.

Replace your address details in FROM, MOD, REPLY (this can be removed).
Add a COMOD1 etc if needed and check the descriptions as they might need a
tidy up..

Change MOD-ADD to MOD-UPD and create a password for each. This is case sensative.

None have a rules file.

Correct and on 3. when all good do a COMOD1 DELETE

I am willing to take over NHL, and I think IIHF can just go away.
I recently started adding daily traffic to the NHL echo.
