Hi Vincent,
TAGname: DBRIDGE Group: FIDO
TITLe: D'Bridge Support Echo
...
Updated on: 2020/03/23 and valid till 2020/09/30
And it this months ELIST.RPT we see:
Updated on: 2018/09/18 and expires latest 2019/03/31
That has me puzzled as now noticed differing dates ....
OK, now realised what happened, I used emaint to check the data on this echo
and pushed the update date to 2019 as I noticed it was updated to today as emaint 'assumed' the record was 'updated' and did not reset the date back to its original setting.. I may have to make a change to emaint to check if anything was changed and if not to NOT change the Date updated.
Was being lazy and it sometimes bites :)
As said in prev. post it will be gone on 01/06/21 during the WARNING and REPORT
pass.
I having been giving an extra month for moderators to update their record but that gives 12 months worth of notice so I will have to consider dropping it by a month i.e., months 6 + 4 warning (once per month) + final notice for
deletion so 11 months in all.
I did consider originally to make the warning only 3 (months) and delete immediately but as Ben's program gave 6+4+1 I did the same.
It does seem to go on for ever so I will reconsider making it 6 + 3 = delete.
That really should be more than long enough !
As it is, there are one or two moderators that send in updates every month.
Every 6 is more than enough where the update can come in during the 1st day of the month after the six month period, as the WARNING run only occurs after any updates are processed at 23:30 or after on the first.
Yes the update runs every hour at 30 minutes past the hour assuming the system is not down for software or hardware maintenance etc where it will resume
along with all other required processing both scheduled and not.
Anyone with a view on this ?
Vincent
