8 1/2 oz Jiffy corn muffin mix
1/2 ts Nutmeg
1/4 ts Cloves
1/4 ts Black pepper
1 ts Cinnamon
2/3 c Granulated sugar
1/2 c Butter
4 Eggs; slightly beaten
1/2 c Milk
1/2 c Pecans; chopped
2/3 c Raisins
Place raisins in boiling water to pulp. Melt butter. Mix slightly
beaten eggs with milk. Sift first 6 ingredients in mixing bowl. Add
milk & eggs, melted butter, and stir well--do not beat. Add chopped
nuts & raisins. Pour into well greased floured loaf pan. Place in
pre-heated 350?F oven for 1 hour or until done. Let cool in pan for
10 minutes before removing. Place on waxed paper or tin foil. Wrap
while still warm to keep moist.
