litter box trained and they kill and eat mce. What's not to like? If
Laugh, our last two cats were not at all self-maintaining. They both required a lot of attention. Mikey insisted on laying on top of Andrea
at all times, when he passed Ruby took that position.
That's just affection. Mutts do that, too. Why do you think some are
known as "lap dogs"?
Currently just have my FIL's dog living with us, she's okay. In a
little bit we're going to look after a friends Cat while they are in Vietnam for the winter. So "Pickle" will be hanging out, but he's
pretty chill.
So long as they can co-exist. Sometimes cats and dogs are like baking
soda and vinegar - when they mix there's a lot of fizzing and usually
a mess to clean up. Other time they can be besties.
a leatherr sofa/love seat and overstuffed easy chair I'd probably
have another cat.
We do... really hope pickle doesn't scratch it up.
I bought a cat a scratching post one time. She still insisted on using
a favourite door frame. When it got too disreputable looking I went down
the lumber yard and bought some epoxy trim. And she still wouldn't use
the scratching post. Just changed doors.
and left that behind. Once I put a piece of bacon on the floow for
her and she made "covering up" motions likke she had just done her business there.
LOL! Mikey didn't really like human food at all, with the exception of bacon which he would go crazy for. Ruby had never seen a piece of food she didn't like.
Go figger. But, she was a pretty good kitty overall.
I'm looking foward to having a cat around again even if just for the winter.
Just remember to change the litter pan *before* it gets aromatic. And,
if you need to buy litter - go down your auto parts store and get a bag
of floor dry (oil absorbent). It's the same stuff that kitty litter is
made of (without perfume) and it can multi-task. Kitty litter, oil spill absorbent, and traction sand in winter. Bv)= Plus a 30# bag is about
the same price as a 5# jug of Tidy Cat.
I DO lie a bargain.
... We secretly replaced Susie's birth control pills with tic-tacs...
Precious little bungles of joy have ensued. Bv)=
