    Yep. But maybe Mark's message has a broken path?

    What do you mean with "broken path"?

    What kind of path lines do you see on the messages you get at your Italian point address?

    Outgoing from you to me I see these:

    @PATH: 333/808 335/364 221/6 1
    @PATH: 333/808 335/364 221/6 153/757
    @PATH: 333/808 335/364 221/6 154/10
    @PATH: 333/808 335/364 221/6 280/5555
    @PATH: 333/808 335/364 221/6 460/58
    @PATH: 333/808 335/364 292/854
    @PATH: 333/808 335/364 301/1

    I know all the systems in the third nodenumber column don't cause this. So if one in the 1st or 2nd column is causing that, which are the only routes, they must be "selectively" dropping messages... Very strange!

    Bye, Wilfred.

    That's basically the same path as the reverse...

    You will have to check with your boss and his uplink, that is where most likely the problem exists...

    That would be of limited value. PING messages in fidonet, test netmail routing. This problem is in echomail routing.

    @PATH: 333/808 335/364 ...

    335/364 Has the PING flag in his nodelist entry, 333/808, the boss node, doesn't...

    Probably some random event. Maybe veleno received it in a bad packet or something.

    As someone pointed out, a major echomail mover shut down, too. As folks
    were shuffling their routings, some packets may have been disrupted or lost.
