Never heard of the Foundation Series or the tv series?

Heard of books series, oh yes. But did not know they were working
    on a TV series.

I've heard about the idea, but not particular details about where and cast and crew associated with it until recently. But I generally take a wait and see approach to the whole idea. Until recently, I was on a fanlist for a favorite author of mine. The author was on the list as well. He mentioned several times over the years of various projects or deals such as possible movie or television adaptations. While negotiations were going on, he would never say anything more than he was in talks about a project. Not even what the project was, until negotiations were complete.

The only thing out of all of that I saw over the years was a comic book/graphic novel type adaptation of one of his short stories.
