The caffeine effect lasts about 4-6 hours. So, by 11p-1a you're good to go. But don't you get up in the night more often to pee?

    I pee at 5am every morning. Unfortunately, I don't wake up until 6. ;)

Sorry, I had to add that. It was too perfect.

If one drinks a lot of liquid after 5pm, and if the guys have an
enlarged prostate (especially as they grow older), the answer is yes
    on the nocturia.

I saw a video on YouTube today from the Canadian group of Bowser and
Blue. I had seen their one on "Praise To The Colorectal Surgeon", and
"My Vasectomy"...but saw "The Prostate Song" today...it was a hoot!!

That's one way to get a nice warm feeling in bed. <G>

Or like the late Red Skelton noted once...

Only when I drink beer.. ;)

That's true...beer is a diuretic...but coffee and tea are as well.

I saw them at a couple of live shows. They were certainly laugh-out loud events. Great memories. And I mean *they* had excellent memory recall to remember all the lyrics of their many tunes too.

That is true. I do miss Red Skelton. Every once and awhile I'll watch
    his shows on Amazon Prime.

There was a show in Branson, Missouri several years ago, with Tom
Mullica doing a tribute to Red....you thought Red Skelton had come
    back from the dead!!

There were numerous funny moments, but the best had to be when he
found out that there was a group of nurses in the audience. He was
elated, and said "I'm so glad you are here today!! I've been dying
    to ask this question!!".

The hall gets quiet, and he asks "Have we had our bowel movement
today??!!". The nurses were as red as tomatoes, and the entire hall
was roaring in laughter...because they knew "that's a true deal". <G>

True, it's good practice not to drink too much coffee (or beer) and eat too many bran muffins at the same sitting. ;)

I'd rather be doing out of both sides (bladder and bowels), than out of
    both ends (vomiting and diarrhea).

At a local ham radio club meeting years ago, one of the hams is a
retired gastroenterologist. I gave him his Amateur Extra Class exam,
    and he wanted "a jazzy callsign"...so, I got him AG5AS. <G>

So, at the meeting, they played the Bowser and Blue video of the
"Praise To The Colorectal Surgeon", and they said "Dr. Jack...this
is for you"!! <G>. Everyone was roaring in laughter. :D

    Dan,

I had to look him up, and found a few videos on youtube of his shows.
It looks like he was spot-on with his performance of Red.

This was long before COVID-19, and like the other shows in Branson, you
were lucky to be able to get tickets to a show.

It's a shame that comedy today isn't even close to the same level as it was back in the days of Red Skelton, Jerry Lewis, etc...

There was another show, "An Evening With Groucho", where the guy made it
look like Groucho had come back from the dead.

My late father and I went to see the show, and he wanted a seat in the
front row. I told him "If we get in the front row, he's going to give us
    grief all night long".

Sure enough, on opening night, there was a bald man in the front row,
and he rubbed the guy's head...saying "I'm Groucho Marx. This is Karl Marx. Sorry about the Revolution, Old Man". <G>

He was doing a song about Lydia the tattooed lady, and this heavy set
woman in the front row was just beside herself in laughter. He asked her
what her name was...and when she said "Lydia", it brought the house down
in laughter, and he nearly fell off the stage!! <BG>.
