Howdy!

I have tried using the MSDOS64 PRG to copy SEQ Files from a CBM FD to a
TXT files on a 3.5 inch 720KB FD in a 1581 to put them on a DOS/WIN computer.

I've learned that I have to add an extra 254 Spaces at the end of each
SEQ File for MSDOS64, because the PRG doesn't transfer any data on the
last 1541 BLOCK to the 720KB disk.

That is a lot of trouble and I've tried asking about other ways to do it.

Years ago I use Bob's Term Pro with the C=64 and a 1200bps Modem and got
all of a file I Downloaded from Commodore BBS's or BBS's ran on APPLE ][
or IBM software.

Same with files I uploaded to those BBS's.

A thought occured to me to try a Terminal program for XP on that pc and
use Bob's Term Pro on the C=64 pc and use a Telephone Line Cord from the
Modems on the two computers to send SEQ files on to the XP.

A Null Modem comes to mind but I haven't researched trying that out without knowing of a Terminal program to use on the XP.

Has Anyone got a idea how to get SEQ files readable on a XP?

I think VINE is a CBM emulator for the XP but never experimented with it.

It seems like I remember it wanted D64 files and I never have done any of
them.

Many years ago I tried learning how to use ARC and SDA files.

This process will work as the two terminal programs will allow you to transfter the files so long as the both suppor the same transfer protocols.

I use a product called ZoomFloppy. It allows you to connect a CBM drive 1541, 1571, 1581, etc to a windows computer via USB. Then use can use something like OpenCBM to make a copy of the disks into D64, D71 and D81 disks.

I think VINE is a CBM emulator for the XP but never experimented with it.

WinVice is the most common emulator that I use and it works really well.

WinVice is the most common emulator that I use and it works really

I couldn't remember the correct name for the Emulator.
All I could remember is the name started with the Letter 'V'.

It works with the CBM Serial port. I have one which I have a 1541 hooked up
to it and it is hooked up to my PC.. Works great...
