Attempted to get Amazon to allow them by logging into the UK site. With my US address...they threw up a huge warning that they can not ship these to the
US. Got the Mini & wanted one of those new sticks...but couldn't even get one of those sent here.

I just ordered one successfully from here: https://www.shop4megastore.com/retro-consoles/the-c64-retro-console-uk-plug (it's no problem to use a US USB power adapter with it)
$160 plus tax

Well, in the end it's vice working there, what I've been told.

There are also many adapters from 9-pol joystick to USB

Then the C64 is a usb keyboard. You can use it with VICE on Linux and
AFAIK also Windows or you can put amibian on a rapsi III.
With the command "getbonuspack" you will get vice and others to amibian. (without you will have the amiga emulator which is also not really bad)

AND you are not "locked by default" to the given multi Joystick.

I know, it's not "THEC64" but maybe a nice alternative feeling similar.

You can use a public UK proxy server you setup in your browser. Check out https://free-proxy-list.net/uk-proxy.html if any works for you.

If this fails, email me with your public IP address and I try to give you access to an UK server. I'll grant you 24 hours access.

VERY NICE!!!! Just bought a used ThinkCentre & ArcaOS...so can't see doing the full size version right now.
