MultiMail is a good offline reader.

Preferably Windows 10 GUI if available.

MultiMail is a console app but it is available for DOS/Win32/win64/MacOS/Linux.

Apam wrote a nice one, TitanMail. You can get it from the Talisman BBS website:

Thanks for sharing that. I'll pass that information on to a few of my BBS users that were wanting a Windows GUI offline mail reader.

    Thanks Travis,

I will say though that every alarm on my computer went off when downloading, installing, and then running TitanMail. Seems to be clean though. I guess modern antivirus software just don't know how to deal with old BBS-era software?

    Thanks,

Good ol' Windows "Smart"Screen. It tends to go off a lot with BBS software mainly because it's so niche and Microsoft doesn't see a lot of downloads of it. But Andrew's software is good. And Open Source as a bonus.

The Titan Mail code is located here as well:

He also authors MagiTerm which is a great terminal software, Talisman BBS software and I think even a few door games.

... I'd love to help you out. Which way did you come in?
