    Hello Kim,

Is there currently an option and if not are there any plans for an option to display the FTN message's path and kludges when reading messages via BBBS's web interface?

    Hi Jeff,

Is there currently an option and if not are there any plans for an option to
display the FTN message's path and kludges when reading messages via BBBS's we
    interface?

AFAIK, not for web-based bbs, but for the telnet version you can turn on the seen-by and kluges with bcfg4 (node)..

    bcfg4 -> global: confs -> msgarea -> [X] No Fido strip

Here's the help line for No Fido strip:

"If this toggle is enabled, then BOGUS will save SEEN-BY and PATH lines as kludges into imported messages. BMSG will save all kludge lines and SEEN-BY lines
    as visible lines in messages."

Now you would have to put an X in No Fido strip for any areas where you want to
    see this info.

    Take care,
    Janis

I don't see an option either, if there is one I don't know what it is.

I've been looking at this because I have a point in Z21 and the seen by lines in most cases contain 0/133 instead of 1/133 on that point so I have been trying to look at the seen by lines saved by bogus in the message base.

That looks to me a lot like one of my famous typos but I haven't been able to clear it up yet so being able to see the seen bys would help.. :)

I do have the no fido strip option turned on here and looking at the raw message base files I can see them there. I also have the pack message bases option set so I have no way to know what seen by belongs to what message.

Is there an option to view the kludges & seen bys when reading messages on the BBS that you know of?

I have a curious problem here with seen bys in Z21 so that's why I ask.. :)

Now there is (Linux-64 only). Previously "u set kludges" setting worked only with telnet login, now with www too.

    https://b.bbbs.net/simka/bbbs-20190216-linux-64.tar.bz2

It includes updated bbbs binary and htdocs/style.css file, no other changes since 20190210 release.

    1) To see kludges you have to set "u set kludges" environment to "t" (or any other non-empty value). You can not set it from www interface, it must be set with telnet.

    2) You probably want to enable bcfg4://global/confs/no_fido_strip toggle to keep all kludges, as Janis said. This works only to new messages, not to existing ones.

This setting is on/off, there is no per-message www toggle. That could be done with some jQuery/css hack, like "$('.kludge').toggle();". Patches are welcome!
