    Hello Greg,

    [..]

The Democratic Party is out of touch, and will lose again to Donald Trump.

People do not vote for a party, but for candidates of their choice.

One does not need to have insight like Nostradamus, to make such a
    prediction.

I do not know any candidate by the name of The Democratic Party.

I seriously doubt the French seer Nostradamus ever did, either.
But he did write a few things (in cryptic verse) about Donald Trump.

Does it matter that I did not name them, my point was obviously they will ALL lose to or drop out of the race. One will remain and the last man or woman standing will lose to Donald Trump, I thought that was a obvious point.
However I am glad nonetheless, to clear up any confusion on your part.

    Hello Greg,

I do not know any candidate by the name of The Democratic Party.

Does it matter that I did not name them, my point was obviously they will
ALL lose to or drop out of the race.

Bush41 was flying high after he single-handedly pushed Iraq out
of Kuwait in the Gulf War, his chances for winning a second term
virtually assured, as his approval ratings were over 90 percent.

In October 1991 a Democratic candidate from Arkansas entered the
race for the Democratic nomination. Nobody gave him a snowball's
chance in hell. He went on to win his party's nomination, and
the White House, on a theme cooked up by a mad Cajun by the name
of James Carville. "It's the economy, stupid!" became the rallying
cry of Bill Clinton, who went on to serve two consecutive terms,
leaving office with the highest job approval ratings in history.

Bill Clinton was not the only candidate who had pulled off such
a stunt. Jimmy Carter had done it in 1976, beating all the bigwigs
in his own party to claim the nomination of his party, en route to
winning the presidency. "Only the best" was his mantra.

It is anybody's game at this point in time. A new candidate
just entered the race, with no poll numbers at all. Nobody is
assured of winning the nomination, much less the election.

One will remain and the last man or woman standing will lose to Donald
Trump, I thought that was a obvious point.

Bill Weld may win the Republican nomination, putting an end
to Donald Trump's reign of terror. Republicans will then rejoice,
if not only for a short time, as their chosen candidate prepares
to do battle with his Democratic opponent ...

If you do not believe that fantasy, here is another one -

Unlike the last election, the American people will decide who
they want, not the Russians. A legitimate president who would
    serve them well.

However I am glad nonetheless, to clear up any confusion on your part.

Predictions are nothing more than guesses. Educated or not.
Prophecies, especially those made by Nostradamus, are a totally
    different ballgame ...

like he is not really doing that great, (It really does give the Democratic party hope) - false hope but whatever. Then come September to October of

You don't think that the primary winner will be the biggest gimmick available at the time? Whoever can use the most shock value to disgust conservatives; somebody who truly hates the health & safety of the American citizens; the
one who will incite race wars and create the most hostile social climate
    among whites & non-whites; Kamala's got this.

The only thing she's missing, to be a success in the Democratic primary, is free health care for all who pass through the USA & Iran. <- That will seal
    the deal for sure.

You know who's not going to be the primary winner? Tulsi Gabbard. The reason
is because she's a veteran; liberals hate that. How would they ever win the election if they back a person who served our country? People who are willing to serve our country are not going to be successful in the democratic
primary; valor doesn't win liberal votes, unfortunately; the opposite does.

People do not vote for a party, but for candidates of their choice.

I must admit that I do in fact vote for a party. I can't be the only one.

It used to be, not so long ago, that people in Louisiana and most
of the South, had no choice but to vote for candidates in the
Democratic Party, as there were usually no Republicans on the ballot
at all. I am glad that people today have more choices, and that
there are multiple parties having candidates to choose from.

I am not criticizing folks who choose to vote the party line.
Some people continue to do so, as is their right. But I do find
today's choices as being much more open and democratic.

Everything ought to be free. That is what I believe. And that is
what most people believe. Better for me to spend other people's money
rather than my own. Wouldn't you agree?

I have friends who are from Iran. They had to move here in order
to escape persecution due to their faith. Both have made it here in
the USA, and are thankful for what this country has done for them.
Every now and then, I have to remind them it is best to remain here
rather than to visit their former homeland. Iran does not treat
those who have left their shores in the same light as those who have
chosen to keep the faith in the wisdom of their mullahs.

That is something Americans fail to understand. And are fortunate
in that respect, given how other peoples are treated in other lands.

There are three veterans in the race for the Democratic nomination,
including one man who is openly gay. Which one the Democrats will
choose as their party's nominee is anybody's guess. But it would be
nice if the Republicans would consider a true veteran for their own

We survived having a black man as president. So why not a black woman?

Obama was pretty terrible, but I don't think he incited race wars; that's why not this particular black woman. Some other black woman would be fine. Since the democrats are experts at exploiting people of color, a black woman has pretty good odds for them.

The republicans don't exploit people of color though; they don't exploit

With me being on the right, I can a achieve this quite effectively.

It is clear that you do not understand how Barr is doing exactly what Trump is directing him to do, i.e. working as Trump's lawyer and not the people's lawyer. Don't you listen to your boss or used to listen to your boss if you are now retired. Anyway what I referring to is known as chain of command and it
happens everyday in every line of work. This is something that is not indigenous to The White House. It's called getting things done.

The Democrats are not use to a Republican President who will not quiver and crumble under their say so, Trump fights back at typically twice the
velocity of what was received. That is something that his father Fred Trump taught Donald at a very young age. It is also something that has been passed down from generation to generation within the Trump family.

The opinions you are spouting are so close to those issued by the far

It's funny that you mention this, I was just explaining to my wife the other day of what happens when I see news headlines on the internet. I always be sure to look for the outlet of where the story originated; If the the story is from New York Times or the Washington Post, there are many that are biased. It has been seen time and time again that they don't give the truth at least not immediately it is buried within several paragraphs. Left leaning newspapers have printed more stories that force them to also print a statement of retraction. They also use from anonymous sources more times than I care to remember, which are nothing more then baseless statements that is not worth the paper that it's printed on.

disagree. With me being on the right, I can a achieve this quite effectively.

with you being in the wrong, it is also achieved quite easily... that you cannot accept that is very telling...

It is clear that you do not understand how Barr is doing exactly what
Trump is directing him to do, i.e. working as Trump's lawyer and not
the people's lawyer. There are carefully laid out rules about how
the Whitehouse is not supposed to communicate with the Justice
department except through particular channels -- and those channels
do not include Trump telling Barr what to do, but that is what is
    happening.

Don't you listen to your boss or used to listen to your boss if you
are now retired. Anyway what I referring to is known as chain of
command and it happens everyday in every line of work. This is
something that is not indigenous to The White House. It's called
    getting things done.

trump is -=*/NOT/*=- barr's boss... the DOJ is a separate and distinct branch... you should be old enough to know how the US government is set up and operates...

trump is not a republican president... he is only wearing that classification like wearing dirty underwear...

The opinions you are spouting are so close to those issued by the far
    right news outlets,

    It's funny that you mention this, I was just explaining to my wife the other day of what happens when I see news headlines on the internet. I always be sure to look for the outlet of where the story originated;
If the the story is from New York Times or the Washington Post, there
    are many that are biased.

without a doubt, every single one of them is biased... even your right-wing ones...

It has been seen time and time again that they don't give the truth at least not immediately it is buried within several paragraphs.

the right-wing ones do the same thing...

Left leaning newspapers have printed more stories that force them to
also print a statement of retraction. They also use from anonymous
sources more times than I care to remember, which are nothing more
then baseless statements that is not worth the paper that it's printed
    on.

open your eyes, man... the right-wingers are equally biased and bad...

And to this end they built themselves a stupendous super-computer which was
so amazingly intelligent that even before its data banks had been connected
up it had started from "I think therefore I am" and got as far as deducing
the existence of rice pudding and income tax before anyone managed to turn
    it off.

at all. I am glad that people today have more choices, and that
there are multiple parties having candidates to choose from.

I agree, it's better to have choices. Sometimes, in my voting
    district, we
have local elections with candidates running unopposed; it's
    disheartening
when the unopposed candidate is from my least favorite party.

Believe me, my head is anything but buried in the sand, it can't be because it is aware of the nastiness from the left -the contempt and the vile hatred for this President.

What is wrong with you people?
You don't like better - superior - trade deals with other countries that no longer result with the U.S. getting screwed w/ unfair unequal deals.
Who cares if these items, are a few dollars for a label that says Made in
the U.S.A. if all you want is cheap goods that are manufactured with questionable and harmful chemicals and ingredients then you are a sellout as well as a fool. Of which leads into a perfect segue which also makes a lot of sense. Perhaps this is why you are upset because the United States has a leader that will not allow the U.S. to have negotiators in trade deals who don't have a clue what they are doing.

If you want the U.S. to fail, you clearly do not belong here.

We rise together, like or not and I know many of you don't.
lowest unemployment rates - some are 50 year lows. So why be upset with this? unless once again you have a problem with this as well because once again we have leader that understands far better then a community organizer who couldn't organize a backyard barbecue to say nothing about charting a course to bring the country back with the unemployment numbers of today.
(before someone says that Obama started this you can also explain why Obama himself said these jobs are gone and are not coming back.)

Stock Market is doing great breaking new records never ever seen in the
United States. (yes, it does matter, because this means jobs.)

If you love America you should be very happy that Trump won, the positives
that are happening now wouldn't even be in the pre-planning stages if Hillary had won, the country would be in the same dismal death spiral as it was at
    the end of Obama's Presidency.

All you want to talk about in non-existant Collusion and Obstruction, it is
not good enough that the Mueller Report has concluded there is no collusion
or obstruction by Donald Trump, the fact that you people on the left were hoping it would of been the final nail in his coffin, explains much about your character. You just won't let it die, you want to talk about how the charges will return when Donald Trump is no longer the President, how retarded is that when there was no indictment in the first place and I do not give a rat's ass what one thousand law professionals are saying because they are just as irrelevant as many as you are on the left, not to mention cut from the same cast.

When Obama was in office I was not rooting for his demise or hoping that he would fail, in-fact I voted for him the first time he ran, it had nothing to
do with the color of his skin, or being that he was the first African-American President. I voted for him for because I thought he would be bring forth what he said which was hope and change, and I liked what the man had to say. However I was disappointed and not impressed with what we got out of his Presidency after 8 long years.

I am far from the one w/ blinders on.

Just as I am not the one who needs to wake up.

invincible ignorance: the fallacy of insisting on the legitimacy of one's

in other words, burying your head in the sand...

Willful ignorance - something that can be denied.

Invincible ignorance - something that cannot be denied.

One can be very informed and be willfully ignorant.
Which is why most members of Congress have not chosen
to read the public version of the Mueller report, and
still deny the president has committed a crime or has
    obstructed justice.

But invincible ignorance is a far different matter.
For example, the headline in a North Carolina newspaper
asked - "Are you okay with a racist president, Republicans?"

Only 4 Republicans in the House have condemned the president's
words as being racist. Only 1 Republican in the Senate has
condemmed the president's words as being racist. And 1 former
    Republican in the House.

We all know the Democrats are not okay with a racist president.
The House of Representives easily passed a resolution condemning
his actions as being racist, in effect calling him a racist.

That would be 235 Democrats, plus 4 Republicans, and 1 former
Republican who agree the president is a racist.

    Talk about invincible ignorance.

The failure of their racist president to call out those who yelled

Those four women the president targeted are one of us. Not a bunch

George C. Wallace was very good at that kind of talk. Without
ever resorting to saying the "N" word in public.

Never come to liberal New York if you don't like it.

    Come to Louisiana. Leave different.

    Meanwhile, back on earth:

What about Alexandria's border jumpers? They're tired of being forced to
drink urine from human skulls in the detention centers,

President Trump admitted he made that up. Called it fake news.

and we need to close the loophole that's forcing them into that predicament.

The officers who told that tale have been detained, and will be
    reassigned to other matters.

But wait - before we give a crap about that - The President Might Be Racist!

No, no, no, no, no! You've got it all wrong!
The President *Is* A Racist! The House of Representatives
passed a resolution condemning him as a racist president!
It is all a matter of the official record! And cannot be
    deleted!

Let's act fast on a vote on whether or not the president is racist!

How many times will the House of Representatives have to do this?
Seems to me the president is a repeat offender and rarely learns from
    his mistakes.

    Nothing better to do!

First there was "Lock her up!"
That was when Trump was still a candidate running for office.

Hillary Clinton has yet to be charged with any crime.

Must be because Trump never had a case to begin with.
    And still doesn't.

Now there is "Send her back!"
That is when Trump is in office playing to a crowd.

All four Americans have spent their time, and our tax dollars,
well as they continue to represent their constituents in our nation's
    capital.

And they are just getting started ...

There are times when we do not know we are ignorant. And there are
times when we recognize our ignorance. Usually, it makes no difference whether we know we are ignorant, or if we recognize our ignorace.
Unless the expected consequences are significant. In which case, we
can do whatever we want without consequence.

OTOH, if those expected consequences are unexpected ...

Right as was indicated by Hillary Clinton when she said that she did not

That attitude is the main reason America was founded, in all its hope and energy and goodness. The people who came here, to make a better land than had ever been seen before by the common people, had been rebuffed and rejected by their neighbors in the Old World.
They didn't like conditions where they lived, and wanted to improve them. If they had been allowed and encouraged to, the Old World would have had a happier history, instead of the miserable tribulations that turned the eyes of the people to America as their last, best hope.
NOW WE FIND that many Americans--smug and fat and entrenched in their affluent inertia--are saying the same ugly thing to their neighbors: "If you don't like it here, why don't you leave?"
But most people who want to change conditions /do/ like it here: they love it here. They love it so much they cannot stand to see it suffer from its imperfections, and want it to live up to its ideals. It is the people who placidly accept the corruptions and perversions and inequities in our society who do not love America; they love their status, security and special privilege.
Nobody should be faced with the mean choice of accepting conditions as they are or abandoning the place he has grown up in. We not only have a right, we have a responsibility, to make our environment as just and as flourishing as our Founding Fathers declared it must be if it were to live up to its aspiration as "the standard of the world."
THOSE WHO WANT to leave have a right to, but those who want to stay and work for what they consider a better society must be protected in that right--for without it, our nation would sink into stagnation, and the process of change would harden into repression by those who benefit by keeping things just as they are.
If all the settlers who came here, with high hopes for a new and finer social order, had been compelled to "go back where they came from," we would have had no United States of America. This country was born out of dissatisfaction with the old scheme of things, and grew on the blood and dedication of men who were not afraid to speak and work for fundamental changes in the whole political and social structure.
Somebody who truly didn't like what America /stands/ for ought to be invited to leave; but there is a vast difference between such a person and those who dislike /what we have allowed ourselves to become/, through greed and prejudice and provincial indifference to the great problems we now face. No community can afford to lose these good "agitators."

Could it be that you did not respond because there could be truth in what I indicated? Why do you think that is? The Conservatives of today may roll their eyes and can't believe what they are hearing from the new left spokeswomen and her squad. Where it may make us cringe as we wait for the next outlandish statement yet to be spoken, we know very well it will be against America.
-just as all the other deranged statements have been.

The Founding Fathers would never ever tolerate such talk. Most would declare to burn her at the stake with a overwhelming majority as they would find her guilty of possessing the tongue of the devil.

Thank goodness we have mellowed out and changed our ways and look at
things different in modern times. It's no guarantee that we on the right will remain as we are today, this depends on her and how she decides to use her tongue, it might be necessary to return to the old ways in the very near future.

She is playing a very dangerous game, I am really tired (I do know that I am not the only one, not a long shot.) of hearing that she is saying these statements because she loves America, her words are counter intuitive to that belief. I find her to be arrogant, ignorant and hateful.

What is yet to come - what path will be chosen?

Next comes desperation (here and now) The never ending need to call the President a racist, when he never mentioned nationality nor did he make any reference to race. (The Democratic plays the race card when it suits them.)
The Presidents twitter remarks do not have anything to do with race, as it relates to the squad. Everybody knows that, but they are selling the idea as this hatches the narrative to populate peoples minds with. Hoping that the nation is stupid enough and that they will soon subscribe to it.

She is dividing the county into two parts, the ones who find her statements repulsive and the ones who find no issue with statements.

Next comes division but on a national scale far worse then anyone as ever seen.

Next comes separation... Everyone knows where this leads us.

Do you want another Civil War? I don't.

    they don't vote against America.

    They have their own nation(s).

Yes, but their nation isn't akin to statehood; they're not
    independent of the
    USA.

They are, however, pretty much independent of the state governments in
the states where their reservations are located.

Elizabeth Warren is the only native American who I've heard of who is fighting for open borders. I wonder if she will get endorsement from
    her
    tribe? My sources say no!

Actually, their nations are not part of the USA, even though included
within its boundaries -- it's complicated.

    A. Elizabeth Warren has not said that she is native American, she has
said that she has a native American heritage. She does not have a
tribe. What she has said is true of many people. Somewhere in their
past five or six generations there was a native American ancestor. Some
deny that, and some embrace it.

You're right. She didn't say she's "Native American," but what she did say is that she's "American Indian" on her State Bar of Texas registration. But
    what's the difference?

Manipulating an entire race of people (or trying to) is a difficult challenge for the average person, but Elizabeth Warren is a Democrat, so it's second nature for her. Although, she hasn't mastered the art like her pal Kamala.

Her partial DNA match might have got her more popularity points if she represented something other than Massachusetts; she's not exactly living the pueblo life.

    A. Elizabeth Warren has not said that she is native American, she has DS>said that she has a native American heritage.

Elizabeth Warren wrote she was `American Indian' on a 1986 registration card she made out for the state bar of Texas in 1986.

When this was brought to light, neither Warren nor her office disputed the authenticity of the form or the reporting.

So... I guess Shipp is right; she didn't say she was `native American'....she said she was `American Indian'!
