• First Racist President

From Aaron Thomas@1:229/426 to All on Sun Aug 9 22:23:48 2020
A couple weeks ago, Joe Biden said that Trump is America's 1st racist president.

Joe challenges the idea that slave-owning presidents were racists; maybe they were just misunderstood? Maybe there's something unracist about slave ownership, something that I will never understand, perhaps.

It would be totally wrong to call Joe Biden "America's 1st racist vice president," because there were many before him, especially members of the Democrat Party, who owned slaves, fought for slavery, and fought for segregation.

In Joe Biden's defense: He's not the FIRST racist vice president.

Nothing, but those words will float out there, might also be picked up on by the Fake News MSNBC or CNN, so they can amplify this rhetoric, so that this seed will be planted within the minds who can not think for themselves.

It is the hope that THIS will be stored with these minds and be remembered on election night, make no mistake that is it's intention.

did absolutely *nothing* to improve race relations whatsoever.

BLM was formed under said president...

That is true the CDC was run very poorly under Obama/Biden.

The CDC has run quite well for the most part, thankfully, although that is
not so much the case today.

The Obama administration (and previous administrations) had a plan for a pandemic in place but Donald Trump shut it down 2 or 3 years previously. No need for things like science.

March 17, 2020 at a White House press conference.

Perhaps it was a bad test, the WHO had a responsibility to the world.
What does WHO mean: after all it is the "World Health Organization"

    down"

It is also True that Andrew Cuomo had ventilators stock piled in a warehouse, and has since 2015, so if you don't use them in 2015 for a pandemic that requires them... What would you call it?

A stockpile that was used up by the coronavirus? New York had a huge number

38 Million visit Wal*Mart each and everyday, so voting at your local
    municipality is more then ok.

as mail in voting solves that problem.

Like I said 30 + million people visit Wal*Mart every day of the week, no one >is dying in mass numbers from visiting wally world, therefore voting at your >local municipality should be fine.

175,000+ dead, and counting. That is just the number of dead,
not the total number of cases, which is many times that number.
Just in a few months time. Forcing millions upon millions of
people to vote in person puts them at risk of joining the dead.
As such, nothing will be fine. Especially for those who die.

    Dead people can vote?

You set up a perfect segue to why mail in voting should not be allowed Dead
people are getting ballots under mail in voting. Ballots are being
    recorded for those dead people.

How is a dead person going to be able to vote? Even if the deceased
were to get a ballot in the mail it would not be possible.

Absentee Ballots are fine because you have to send for one and you get a >ballot to be filled out, you can always drop dead once you drop ballot off
the ballot at your local Post Office.

Voting absentee and voting by mail are the same thing. However, if
a person dies before the end of the election, his/her vote will not
    count (or be counted).

    IOW, dead people can't vote.

To be fair, most Canadian news coverage is left-leaning. See my other messages to Aaron about this.

Who do you have for your provider (Cable provider)
Is Newsmax TV where you are. - It's quite refreshing not having to watch liberal hacks.

Our Canadian television providers are in cahoots with the government / CRTC which is the equivalent of your FCC. As I wrote before elsewhere, any kind of application for a conservative-based news channel is almost always denied as "nobody wants Fox News North". We did have Sun News but it never caught on.

The closest we have would probably be either the Sun newspaper chain or Rebel News. There just isn't any real outlet for anything that isn't the usual liberal viewpoint. We also have somewhat vague "hate speech" laws and "human rights codes" so you can imagine it would be difficult to air something without it being instantly catagorized as the racist/phobic/whatever label.

We have also been denied by our CRTC any kind of real competition from American cell providers or cable companies as the Canadian providers are
much too scared to see their monopoly in jeopardy. So we do not have Verizon
or Time Warner, etc. Naturally, we pay some of the most expensive rates for cell phone and Internet service compared to many other countries.

Now the province of Ontario where I live has elected a conservative premier
who is actually doing a good job and being treated mostly fairly and friendly by our liberal media during this stupid pandemic.

In related news: Last night I wanted to watch the RNC convention, and I don't have cable. The only broadcast channel that offered to show it was PBS. So I tuned to PBS, and they showed bits and pieces of the convention with anti-Trump commentary breaks every 2 minutes. There was really no way to watch the actual coverage.

Remember in the 80's and early 90's when CNN was actually somewhat decent?
No opinions, no nonsense. I heard that Ted Turner is even pissed how his creation turned out today. And remember how the major news channels used to thumb their noses at tabloid shows like Hard Copy and Current Affair? PBS
was actually not that bad? And even TLC actually had some redeeming social enlightenment value before Here Comes Honey Boo-boo?

I like to pinpoint the OJ trial as the first real noticable shift from serious reporting to tabloid/gonzo journalism going mainstream and the rise of
opinion shows and "expert panels" and blahblahblah feedback discussions.

Clinton's blowjob scandals were the icing on the cake... uhh, so to speak.

I sorta do remember that. They never hated a president so much.

I used to speculate that Trump is costing liberals tons of money, and that's why they're so angry and resentful, but recently somebody offered me a different explanation for all the crazyness: Power

This dude on Zeronet told me something like "You can only acquire a certain amount of money before the money stops getting you high - so then you start getting high on power instead."

And I see his point like with Hillary Clinton - she made a ton of money during her husband's presidency, and then she and him made even more after he left office by delivering million-dollar speeches. Then Obama gave her a taste of power by backing her campaign for US Senate, and then she started itching to become president. And for what? She gave no reason to vote for her in the presidential debates with Trump - just vagueness. "Vote for me because I'm hungry for power."

People might argue the same about Trump - but those would be the people who refuse to admit that he's been leading this country like a champ. If the
power to help people is what gets Trump high, then lets give that rich guy some more power.

huh, even you got what I have Direct TV, I think that those channels that I have would still be blocked. Such as Fox News or Newsmax.

I visited Canada once, back in 91. My wife and drove from Rockport, Mass for our Wedding Night. (Bearskin Neck Rockport, Mass) after a pleasant stay we drove west into Vermont then northwest until we reached Canada. I dam near got a speeding ticket due to the metric numbers on the posted speed limit signs, I didn't realize it right away, until I said to myself there was no way this road is that fast, then it became clear.

We arrived in Montreal around 3am found a hotel that looked more like a castle, as I recall the French crystal chandeliers hanging from above as I entered, a short and sleepy clerk came shuffling his feet as he approached us, gave me
the price for the room, the moment he realized that I was paying with American currency his eyes flashed open - like a lit-Christmas tree. I paid more but I didn't care, I was just thankful to find a bed.

The next morning we attempted to get some breakfast they offered a wee glass of orange juice and a croissant. We passed at the offer.

We didn't stay that long. We visited a place that resembled a mall. I remember getting some Canadian cigarettes that came in a tin container and I remember nearly choking to death, as I lit one of those bad boys. Holy Crap it was stong.

I would like to go back for a longer stay, at some point.

As I've said over 30 million American's visit Wal-Mart each & every day.

30 million unemployed right now under your beloved prez.
How is that working out for them?

and? This not the President's fault, it's China's fault.

His job approval rating is a lowly 41%, according to the latest polls.
Polls... lol you go right believing in those polls.
Please keep focused on them. History will repeat itself.
