I watched the Ahmaud Arbery video today. It looks sorta like the
shooting was not justified, like they could have just maybe tried
calling police instead, but then this guy was trespassing, so he sorta like instigated his own shooting.

Yeah, this was two hillbillies looking to lynch a guy
    with dark skin.

What a racist you are. Is it possible for you to virtue signal a bit more obviuosly? I'm sure you can muster out more.

Would you shoot someone if they were running away from your property
after they had obviously entered it illegally?

Precisely who's property had he "entered" illegally?
Certainly neither of the two shooters. Notice also
how he was running _toward_ them, merely going around
their truck. It seems to be that I had done something
wrong and were fleeing from a crime scene I wouldn't
run at a leisurely pace towards the hillbillies with
    shotguns.

What did the victim aim to do anyway? You obviously seem to know what was on his mind at the time. Enlighted us. What was his end-goal? Did he lay out his plan in a detailed manner?

I think I'd aim for the leg.

Why would you shoot in the first place?

I love it. You are speaking like a legal expert and acting racist at the same time. The shooters are white so let's just call them hicks. Is that how it is? White guy = hick?

I'm going to wait to see what the jury decides on this. After all, not all the video was released and the only information available are those published by the press. Who knows how much of it was edited out. The press would never alter videos to fit a narrative. Oh no never.

To me, those guys are innocent until proven guilty. I don't care what skin color they are.

I think you dropped your klan hood somewhere nearby.
Do you need help finding it?

How cute. Projecting much? I called you out for a blatant racist rant
and you try to turn it around on me. Nice try buddy.

You clearly don't know what racism is.

Some have a view that denigrating white people by calling them hick or <insert racial term here> isn't racial. No one ever applies the word 'hick' toward Italians or Koreans. It's also class warfare, but that's another topic. I've heard members of the leftist press attack white people and then claim it'll never be racial because caucasians hold institutional power. What people say to justify racism blows me away.

A search for 'white institutional power' yielded gobs of results and a top result is an op-ed that discusses this. Little did I know how this vicious fallacy was born in the seventies yet lives on today:

Oh those guys were hicks. Kinda the canonical
    example of hicks.

Unapologetic racism. You just set your boots deep into the mud on that one. You New Zealanders must be real authorities on American culture, yeah?

I'm an American. I'm actually a New Yorker. I just happen
to be posting from a BBS in New Zealand.

My apologies for assuming. I truly hope you and family are safe and healthy.

I've always had the impression that many hicks are proud
of their hick identity. Isn't that Big Smo's shtick while
he's down kicking in in the middle T?

I really doubt that. Try calling someone a hick in casual parlance and report back if it goes well for you. Be sure to pick someone bigger than you. That would be a good test.

In 2008/9, around the time of Obama's first days of presidency, the leftist press coined the term 'post-racial America' to describe the country who had elected him. It was short-lived as little time passed before we witnessed a monumental decay of racial harmony unseen in the modern era. No one used that term very long and I would surmise most people, if asked, would say 'oh yeah, I forgot about that. Wait, when was that again?'

The leftist press discovered their capitalistic niche for hate & rage reporting. As a result they've decomposed into op-ed hell. Fueled by them, racism is here to stay, contrived or genuine.

Fortunately for us, the press no longer steers election results like they did in the past. Unfortunately, they've held their power in ways arguably more destructive. The press does more harm than good.

It is fun you say that. I was recently handed a document about making dark humor jokes that were socially acceptable. The whole thing was many pages long, but it could be sumarized as follows:

"It is not ok to make jokes that put gays or ethnic minorities in a bad light. It is ok to put white males or authority figures in a bad light."

    Also summarizable as:

"It is ok to trash the people we oppose, but don't dare trashing our supporters"

Really? Some of the biggest hicks I've ever known were
    Italians.
