I agree that these folks are good at what they do, but many of them grew up
poor. Some worse then poor.

Larry Bird grew up poor. Pete Maravich grew up poor. Both
worked hard and became among the greatest basketball players
of all time. Even though both were white.

So now you're contradicting yourself....
Did you NOT just say?
that they are punished more harshly then whites.
that they inherited cycles of poverty.
that they are in ghettos of poverty and despair.

Black folks are disproportionately poor in relation to white folks
in this country. Ditto with brown folks and other folks of color.

You forgot to mention "everything is a white-lash.." so says Van Jones of
CNN.

It is our society that is sick, not black folks or brown folks
or yellow folks ...

Who is the racist now? Is this how you see these people?

The state of Louisiana is 32% black. Yet the mortality rate
for black folks in regards to COVID-19 is 70%. The highest of
any group. Yes, our society is truly sick.

I wish everyone could rise to greatness, regardless of skin color.

Our society has a long way to go to achieve greatness.
A very long way.

You know why so many of them fail?

Our sick society has failed them.

It doesn't have a thing to do w/ the items that you mentioned, in-fact what
some of items of which you mentioned are the result and not the cause.

Like I said, we have a very sick society.

It all boils down to NOT having a strong family unit.

We have a hook-up society. And yet black folks have a much higher
mortality rate for COVID-19 than any other group. That will not change
if those who are currently hooking up choose to marry. They will still
be sick, and continue to get sick. Why? Because our entire society
is sick.

Single moms raising kids, no Dad in the picture, he went off to splash to
another.

That is the majority today, regardless of race. In some cases, it
is Dad raising kids rather than Mom. Or two Dads and no Mom ...

Then the street fills whatever void remains, followed by a culture
that does not care.

Welcome to the real world.

It is Responsibility and Commitment that is the problem to a large degree.

Responsibility and Commitment. To what? Hook-up culture means
be with the one you're with until you want another to be with.
COVID-19 merely accelerated things a bit, forcing folks to move
on to another sooner rather than later.

A strong education also provides the pathway out of this misery.

Propaganda.
Kinda like FoxNews on steroids.

I remain hopeful, that education is chosen when this choice comes.
