I believe Trump will be re-elected because Biden is... Biden. But I do not believe it will be the landslide-slaughter some conservative sites think so.

However it would not surprise me if Hillary made her sudden return. Bernie's exit just seemed to be too "convenient". Not that she will swing things but it will definately cheapen the US election even further. Once again Bernie fans got the shaft and it just stinks of corruption.

I really wish Trump would just buckle-down and stop grandstanding in some ways. He made a serious gaffe with handling China thats gonna cost him votes.

Trump has done far for the American people and has kept more promises than any other President is recent memory.

I am sure that the reporters would like to continue to twist and take out of context what the President says. Just as I am sure that they would like to
have the President remain unaffected when they ask their questions filled with sarcastic sounding tones & even some of those are of the "gotcha" type.
I love it when the President replies to these smug people, how he demonstrates his authority & sometimes devastates them w/ his reply, as he instantly defines the true intention of why this questions were asked.

This President is a fighter, this is why the American people love about the man, and it also drives the liberals nuts, in every form of medium, including here in fidonet.

The President is right about China, they have been ripping off the United States for many years. He was also right about China, when he said that they tried to hide it (Covid-19) from the world.

The President was also right about the World Health Organization bowing to the Chinese. The United States has paid the majority of the money to the W.H.O. It's time to shut off the money and begin a investigation into the matter.

The President also got it right when he called out the W.H.O. when they said that COVID-19 couldn't be spread to person to person.
They also disagreed with his travel ban, of which has saved many lives.
Many countries have done the same thing, even some states here in the U.S.
are disallowing people of other states.

This is going to cost him votes?..
    nonsense.
As a result of this stance on China, it will garner him more votes.

Finally an intelligent a conversation, instead of the seething hate from the Dark Side.

I was a huge Trump fan as an observer in your 2016 elections but as the years went on, I saw some cracks forming at the seams. Twitter tirades
and things like frequent golfing whilest criticising his predecessor of doing the same. Entertaining that nutjob Kanye West at the whitehouse
was poor optics which served no purpose. Just cringeworthy gaffe crap
from him I wish would *stop*

    Question?
What do you think would happen if Trump dismissed him Kanye West, how you
think *that* would of been perceived?

People would suggest that he hates black people, whether people liked or hated Mr. West or not; they would used him like a pawn & they would run & spin that for ALL that it was worth. If they could use it -- you know they would --
use it, to Damage the President. I could see it now. CNN would have panels discussing this every night, Van Jones would say see "I told you so." Then
they would revisit midweek - Wednesday - the darkest days of the civil rights movement. They would discuss and analyze and then mysteriously come to a conclusion at the end of the week. (Propagating and giving special sneak peeks into the show stopper reveal on Friday's worldwide special broadcast that in 2019, Trump has returned the Nation to the hate and violence of the 1960's.

For those who think that Mr. Trump is of this nature, I would direct you to re-read Donald Trump's Inauguration speech.

As far as the tweeting is concerned, it's great a tool to get his message directly to the people and to those who despise him, more importantly Twitter allows the President to talk past the these idiots to those American's who really want to read what he is communicating and to those who are interested. After all he is not just bypassing the liberal lunatic fringe but also those in in the media who are sometimes have this reference.

8-) I could technically be considered a "classical liberal".

I try not to get into lengthly quote-rants when I reply to someone, but:

What do you think would happen if Trump dismissed him Kanye West, how you think *that* would of been perceived?

The optics of having a rapper at the white house looks as bad as Obama playing host to Black Lives Matter. Its just pandering. I wish Trump would really break PC culture by calling black people black instead of "African American".

When Trump campaigned in 2016 I was a huge fan almost for the sole reason that finally America could have a President that won't pander to the PC crowd and hopefully a lot of this culturally-sensitive crap would go away. I saw Trump as the proverbial middle finger to years of establishment pandering.

Maybe even go a step further by calling out race hustlers like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton. I really wished Trump was far more aggressive and brutal against the sensitive-snowflake culture that we live in now. A generation of kids are unfortunately growing up with the idea that euphemistic language is normal and that if you do not succeed in life, its due to white privelege.

Trump should be going after universities that pander "gender studies" and race studies and other nonsense as that is the real dangerous racism and sexism of America. Instead he constantly gets side tracked by the MSM and Twitter BS.

I would like to see him golf less and instead have more casual interactions with average Americans, maybe even with those that do not like him. That would not be pandering, that would be a genuine effort to relate to voters. I don't know what it is about golf, for me its just a goofy stuck-up snobbish "sport". Golfers are some of the most insufferable uptight A-holes ever on this planet. We should have less golf courses and more public parks, nature, scenery etc.

As far as the tweeting is concerned, it's great a tool to get his message directly to the people and to those who despise him, more importantly Twitt

When Trump keeps the Twitter posts calm and simple, thats one thing. Its the childish ranting that is cringeworthy. It comes across as a petulent child having a tantrum... "If you have nothing nice to say about someone, say nothing". Or so it goes.

It would be a more conservative approach for him. Better yet, directly address the American people via Youtube or some streaming platform and stop with these rediculous press conferences that only perpetuate the gotcha-questions from
the fake-news media. He claims to despise them yet can't stop addressing.

Why you think players in the NFL kneel during the National Anthem? Are they misguided? OR is it that people of color are being mistreated, and therefore the kneeling is a sign of respect for being disrespected or is it because

The democratic party have soiled themselves tremendously. Integrity is something they seem to despise, so a favorable outcome for the democrats depends on how many voters also despise integrity.

It doen't smell like "integrity" when they have all of the USA voting in democratic primaries, then tossing the primary winner in the trash for someone who nobody asked for - so you're probably on to something. Those who wish to overturn the 2016 election will probably be glad to overturn the 2020 primary election too.

Why you think players in the NFL kneel during the National Anthem? Are they misguided? OR is it that people of color are being mistreated, and therefor

Black people tend to come from a very proud culture, religion and are actually mostly very conservative. Bad things have happened to them but I think the worst is the pandering by government on both political sides that they are victims of life and circumstance. Universities, the MSM and government fuel anger and victimhood for funding, ratings and votes. This has gone on for years. Black people who become lawyers, doctors, engineers and have really successful careers and families are called sell-outs and Uncle Toms, Yet if
one is a athlete or a rapper then that is measured as "success" even as they openly abuse drugs or celebrate a thug lifestyle of violence and misogyny.

Why do you think this was, perhaps it was because it was said that he was n acting Presidential Enough, what does that even mean?

Both sides really get into pointless namecalling instead of taking the time to really understand why Trump was voted in the first place... it really wasn't so much a Trump voter having a visceral reaction to Obama as it was the media and Clinton and a corrupt party system. Trump is a master of the media and knows exactly what to say and do to get their attention. The media eats it up all the time, good or bad. The media was largely responsible for his win.

Leftists should channel their anger more at their Democrat system that allowed Clinton to steal the show and now promoting Biden who I'm convinced is senile. It just seems they are tripping over themselves to find someone to "beat Trump" rather than someone who would actually be a genuinely good President.

And when someone votes for "anyone but Trump", that to me just reeks of ignorance and stupidity. Voting out of revenge or spite? Sure sounds less educated than so-called deplorables who voted for Trump in the first place.

I wish Trump supporers would actually politely engage leftists and get them
to usurp their Democrat party and that Trump was voted because he genuinely connected with the average Joe. Clinton on the other hand wrote off "deplorables" and therefore subsequently wrote off her election.

You know why so many of them fail? It doesn't have a thing to do w/ the items that you mentioned, in-fact what some of items of which you mentioned are
the result and not the cause. It all boils down to NOT having a strong family unit. Single moms raising kids, no Dad in the picture, he went off to splash to another. Then the street fills whatever void remains, followed by a culture that does not care.

It is Responsibility and Commitment that is the problem to a large degree.
A strong education also provides the pathway out of this misery. or death does. I remain hopeful, that education is chosen when this choice comes.

I agree that these folks are good at what they do, but many of them grew up poor. Some worse then poor.

    So now you're contradicting yourself....
    Did you NOT just say?
that they are punished more harshly then whites.
that they inherited cycles of poverty.
that they are in ghettos of poverty and despair.

You are conflating what happens to individuals with
general trends in larger population groups. I understand
this is difficult for you to understand.

Who is the racist now? Is this how you see these people?

    You are.

I wish everyone could rise to greatness, regardless of skin color.

Hmm. No you don't. If you did, you wouldn't think any
entire category of people defined only by skin-color was
    uncivilized.

You know why so many of them fail? It doesn't have a thing to do w/ the items that you mentioned, in-fact what some of items of which you mentioned are the result and not the cause. It all boils down to NOT having a strong family unit. Single moms raising kids, no Dad in the picture, he went off to splash to another. Then the street fills
whatever void remains, followed by a culture that does not care.

....And why do you think that happens? Hint: I gave you
    the answers already.

    Would you behave this way?
    Destroying destroy police cars.
    Shoplifting at Stores.
Looting Stores as a group activity.
Burning a city nearly to the ground.

I do not care what color you are, if you think any of that is normal
then you are deemed as uncivilized.

Yeah, all of those things are bad and the perpetrators
should be prosecuted. But calling _all_ people with
dark skin "uncivilized", as you did, based on the actions
of the relatively few actors who did those things
is racist and, I would say, uncivilized.

Are all white people uncivilized because uneducated
racist hicks join the klan and their ancestors
    practiced slavery?

I did not call all African-Americans uncivilized, again not looking the
color of ones skin, but if you're so angry that you have to commit violence and cause destruction then that would be uncivilized.

You've got some nerve talking about vets like that.
Remind me where you served? Oh, that's right: you
    didn't.

Veterans understand that when _we_ raised our right
hand, _we_ swore to defend the _Constitution_, which
includes the right to free expression. It's kind of
an American thing. More specifically, it does _not_
include some kind of right for your fragile
sensibilities to not be hurt because you don't like
someone using a platform to call something the way
    they see you.

You right-wingers accuse others of being overly
sensitive, and then go apoplectic the second someone
    says something you don't like.

    Grow up.

You don't have to like it, but it's their right to do

And THAT right is what matters more than your fragile

No, I got it right, it's YOU who get it wrong. I don't
care if you don't like NFL players sitting, standing,
kneeling or whatever; hell, I don't even like football.
I think it's fucking stupid. And why the hell do they
play the national anthem at sporting events anyway?
    But whatever. I don't give a shit.

But don't go dragging veterans into your idiotic arguments.
We have less than nothing to do with you all getting

we fought for since this nation was founded.
