Today was the first of probably many Joe Biden Martin Luther King Days.

He was at an African-American Baptist church today preaching the gospel about how "we need to fight racist groups like the KKK and Trump."

He forgot to mention the part about the KKK being democrats.

Then, towards the end of his speech, he pointed to an elderly black gentleman and said "Dr King, why don't you come up to the podium and speak?"

    Hello Aaron,

Today was the first of probably many Joe Biden Martin Luther King Days.

Every day is an MLK Day for Joe Biden. Which is one of the reasons
why so many folks love him.

He was at an African-American Baptist church today preaching the gospel
about how "we need to fight racist groups like the KKK and Trump."

We should all fight racism and bigotry, wherever it is found.

He forgot to mention the part about the KKK being democrats.

David Duke, a former grand wizard of the KKK, is a Republican.

Then, towards the end of his speech, he pointed to an elderly black
gentleman and said "Dr King, why don't you come up to the podium and
    speak?"

    "I don't know anything about David Duke. I don't know what you're
talking about with white supremacy or white supremacist. I don't
know. I don't know, did he endorse me, or what's going on?"
    ~ Donald J. Trump

Trump: I don't know what group you're talking about. You wouldn't
want me to condemn a group that I know nothing about. ... If you would
send me a list of the groups, I will do research on them and certainly
I would disavow them if I thought there was something wrong.

    Tapper: The Ku Klux Klan?

Trump: You may have groups in there that are totally fine and it
would be very unfair. So give me a list of the groups and I'll let
    you know.

Tapper: I'm just talking about David Duke and the Ku Klux Klan here.

Trump: Honestly, I don't know David Duke.

    -=-

I met David Duke. At LSU, on the steps of the Student Union, he
dressed up in full Nazi garb, and gave a speech. This was in broad
daylight. He majored in history at the university, but never did
bother to graduate. Too busy making speeches and attending rallies
for his cause. He was racist then as he is racist now. Only he
had bit more energy back in those days. I had to keep several black
students from giving him exactly what he wanted, which is to say
    a confrontation.

This was back in the 70s, before he gained national notoriety.
But he is the same today as he was back then. Only he chooses to
wear a business suit rather than Nazi garb today, and claims it
is his agenda that Republicans (such as Trump) are following today.

One other thing of note as to why Trump is so anxious to claim
he doesn't know the guy. A msle student for the campus newspaper
from Southeastern Louisiana University was invited by David Duke
for an interview at his home.

Which probably explains why David Duke is divorced, snd has
    never remarried.
