    This generates a 10¨6 Graphic object based on the passed string
    (such as user.name).

    Forground is a bright colour, background is the complimentary dark
    colour.

    Blocks are set based on a hash of the passed string.

    Suitable for unique "avatars" generated from names.

    that's interesting. i just created an irc stats script and if the user hasn't Specified an avatar url it uses this service to generate one

    Maybe the idea or code could could be adapted to ansi chars for avatars.
