    add

ADD = Analog Recorded, Digitally Mixed and Digitally Mastered.

:P I've seen some people post that, and I think they think they need to post an 'add' command to get the sub-board added to their BBS (which isn't the case with QWK).

I remember when CDs used to have that code though, to let you know how the music was recorded. It seemed the last was always D - I figured because CDs have digital audio.

And on a side note, it seems weird to me that people these days refer to a downloadable movie/music file as "digital" - It is digital, but so are CDs and DVDs and blu-rays.. The first time I saw "Digital copy included" printed on a DVD movie cover, I thought, of course it's digital, it's a DVD..

actually, that's how _users_ can add the area to their pull without having to manually do it on the BBS... the trick is that they have to address it To: the BBS' QWK manager function like sending an areafix message in FTNs... the question then is does sbbs have a QWK manager to process user requests like 'add', 'drop', and the one(s) to adjust their pointers... if it does, what is its name? also, do the messages have to be Private or does that matter? either way, once the QWK manager processes the user's management message, it is eaten and not posted to the area or sent out over any networks...
